but there was this scene where they show the plastic surgery.
so you see metal sticks going through her lips. back and forth. you see, CLEARLY see knives cutting through the flesh or her face, neck .
you see the doctor opening her breast,
you see everything. blood. open flesh, metal bars. metal. cut. knife.blood. skin


and THEY FUCKIN BLUR THE NIPPLES !!!

I was watching "Breakfast Club" the other day, and the part where Bender say "Eat my shorts" they had changed so he said "Eat my socks."  I guess "shorts" is a bad word now.  Bart Simpson used to say it all the time, but he's got a real potty mouth. 

This is what we've come to in America.  We can't hear the word "shorts" on tv.  Apparently we can't handle it.

I do see on shows like The Shield, NYPD Blue, some very light cursing and booty shots so some networks are getting more leanient.? As far as the Breakfast Club, I do work in Television broadcast, since that movie is from the 80's and that version you were watching is more than likely an old edited version that they aren't going to spend the money to reedit? Nowadays, I can't see them not letting shorts go through.? Usually words that are allowed are like ass, damn, goddamn etc, tame words.

the guy who was on his computer, applying the blur effect, looked at the picture, saw a bloody cut and a pink skin area and had to blur the little nipple .... ??

its stupid but its by law , for example the same case here in mexico , the law of the national television brodcast (i dont really know the name) says that you have to censore 2 inches around the nipples in open channels , so you can view a surgery show and they can show you the full surgery but they have to censore the nipples , there is not one guy that decides in a moment what they can not show , its by rules . but i agree its stupid and they should change it.

what its weird in America its how the censore cartoons and stuff , for example they put japanese animation in the tv but then they change everything , the characters dont die insted they go to another planet , so they change all the story of the cartoon , they change the blood , they cut everything , like if the children couldnt handle that a character in a cartoon dies or bleeds .
