I read in VG today ( norways biggest newspaper ) that Ole Gunnar Solskj?r who is playing on Manchester United FC usually listens to GNR when united is in the gym.
Really? Thats cool. Ole rules. Hope he's back playing soon!
Chris Rock?
Thats just funny.
Apparently Moby's a fan, but i cant understand why all these frickin pop stars like music like GNR when their own music is so shite.

i think robbie williams is too...ive seen him wear a slash t-shirt and attempt the snake dance axl does!
Yeah...apparently he's a huge Slash fan...?
Not entirely sure Slash returns the sentiment though...can't say I blame him really?
Just some general trivia for those who didn't know: Robbie and Slash were born in the same town, Stoke-on-Trent
Perhaps the wonderful Bill Bailey is a Gn'R fan. Here he is, for anyone who doesn't know who he is. Funny man

slash was NOT born in stoke on trent! it's a popular falsehood that he dismissed in an interview with classic rock, Slash was born in London.

Then I aplogise, but every other source I've ever come across has said Stoke-on-Trent, so maybe you could give me a link or something to the interview? I'll look myself, too.
Ok, I haven't come across the Classic Rock interview, but I got this from snakepit.org:
"Bet you thought that SLASH was born in Stoke-on-Trent, England. Recently we had a communique from a very close relative who was there at the time! To be totally accurate, SLASH was born in Hampstead (London), England and was raised in Stoke-on-Trent. We've even updated our SLASH bio, and we wanted those experts in SLASH trivia to have the news, too. Unfortunately, we have no pictures of the blessed event, but in our imagination, a very sweet little boy was born July 23, 1965 with long, black curly hair"
http://www.snakepit.org/0401news.html
Fair enough then?

Plus a few shitheads who used to party with the guys back then and who haven't noticed the world changed ( rockers are almost clean now, don't do hookers, they marry britney and shut the fuck up lol )

Yea. Same thing with Justin Timberlake wearing an Iron Maiden shirt in one of his videos. Band-Ts are in now so there are alot of stars wearing Gn'r, Led Zeppelin, and AC/DC shirts. It dosent mean that they like the bands. All those posers should rot in hell

Ricky Martin had his top 10 videos of all time on MTV once (back when he was popular) and for #2 he had November Rain (#1 was his own "Livin La Vida Loca" video). Right after talking about the video he was like "Come back to us Axl...."
Sum 41 and a bunch of other young punk bands cite GNR as an influence. Days of the New and Buckcherry spoke highly of GNR.
Ozzy and Sharon like GNR. I think I read a quote where Ozzy was talking about axl and said "I love his music and his voice but the man has serious problems."
HAHA, I remember that... there are so many aspects of that quote that are very telling....

These guys are huge fans of the band.
At least the singer and the lead guitar player. They told me so after a gig...

In the new TIME magazine, under the "people" section, there is a picture of Paris Hilton and her Fiance Paris Latsis, and he is wearing a GN'R shirt.
