I just saw Mr. Plant last night...in my 'hood...2 miles from my house. Good show. PPBEBE, he ended with Whole Lotta Love. He played a lot of Zep classics but rearranged them nicely. I like it when an artist puts a different spin on their songs....our little redhead should learn a few tricks from the masters!
OOOOOOOHHHHHH MY HEAD, ROCK ROCK!
Aren't ya one lucky bustard?
Me too likes it when they put new spin on any familiar songs but honestly I'm not a big fan of solo acts with the exception of the case like NIN where an artist makes all the parts.
Kashmir, alias CIA = Celt India Arabia, is real mind-blowing. I like it the best of all Zep songs, then Night flight, No quarter, stairway or whatever the second. But when it comes to earthshattering sound, I'd say, it gotta be "Whole Lotta Love, led with Moby Dick". It has the definite sound of the shaking of the earth owing mostly to John Bonham and JPJ.
BTW the theme of 2001 a space odyssey might be the one. By Strauss was it?
Or else some compositions of Wagner, Beethoven, Bach and so forth are earthshattering in like manner.
Such Old music from the ice age? Aye, The song remains the same.
