Where are the people who see Axl daily???? HELP US and the WORLD!

I hate to admit it. but to much of the world and those that see him daily (at the gas station, supermarket, clothing stores) he is the former frontman of GNR. Unless you are plugged into HTGH, the larger world thinks GNR disbanded circa 1993.

This is why GTA: San Andreas was actually a relief to me.  It was some actual proof that he's still alive.  How the hell did they get him to do that?  Of all the places he could pop up its on a video game.

this has become part of the legend that is axl rose.
imagine james hetfield being spoken about this way. imagine rolling stone in 2000 making a six page article entitled "where the hell is james hetfield?" no one would give a fuck, they're so used to him. only axl can pull something like this off, going in exile for years and still have the huge demand for him intact. he sold out MSG without an album out in the last 10 years and with a whole new set of musicians for christ's sake. how many people can pull that off but axl?

axl definately looks great for 43. and he's still got the charisma that only axl has, look at the 3rd pic. he's a rock star if there ever was one.

About 2 years ago i went with a friend of mine to a factory unit at Castle Hill, NSW, Australia. This guy had an ad in the yellow pages and we rang him and he told us all this stuff we thought was crap, Anyhow we arrived there and i cant remember exactly but he was somebody important because he had the gunners drum kit (Autographed) from the 93 Aus tour, Slash guitar in this wood box with glass front and an american flag behind it and a cartoon slash and tophat. His floor was made of records man!!! it was SOOOOOOOOO Cool. We asked him about them and he said they were all nice guys, Accept AXL!!!! seriously. I HOPE THAT GUY IS A MEMBER OF HTGT!!! There was a report on tv a few months later that heap of rock n roll memorobelia was being auctioned in Sydney and surely enough, there it was!

there is a reason why they call axl the howard huges of rock n roll.  Axl is a very private person and how he has such control over the information and his studdio work and recordings so it doesnt get out is beyond me, but when he is ready, if ever, we will see it and and see him.  till then the legend of Axl Rose keeps building, and Im sure he gets a kick of some of the things that are said about him, I bet he leads a pretty normal life  well as normal as he could live  given his circumstances.

id have to agree with hireing a poparazzi to "stalk" axl and take pics. i mean these people will follow celebs around all day to get a picture of them eating food, or crossing the street. and if they have a video camera they walk right in front of people saying shit like "dont touch my camera, i have a job to do; this is public property; ill see you in court" and get all offened when someone gets in their face or tells them to go away.......well, enough of that. but seriously, a good pic of Axl could be worth some coin.

Wait, I think I know why. Picture this, Axl's known for his long hair , he probably cut it so people couldn't reconize him. Listen to my story recently, an asshole friend of my cousin's shaved my hair off when I was asleep. When I walked around town , it took people a long time to figure what happened to me then they're like "wait is that our neighbor Mike?" I don't suppose Axl would hide in his house forever like Howard Hughes who people are comparing him to. I don't think he's a recluse as much you people are worried he is.

i've read something similar a few years ago. he's a night person, like me.
this is off topic but i've also read that he rents the studio 24/7 to be able to work on the album whenever he wants without needing appointments, he just needs to call the engineers and let them know. imagine the fucking bill. interscope must really belive in this project.

Supposably this was true. But that NYTimes article (if you can believe it) also said that this is no longer the case and that the label is no longer funding the recording process and any new work done on the album is funded from axl's own project.

I think Axl`s charisma, talent and stage presence are not forgotten by fans who are interested in him (ex. MSG sellout of 2002) But to the average Joe, he`s just a former rock star who no one has heard from in awhile.
