When music videos were first being made consistantly in the early-mid 80`s, no one had raised the bar yet. GNR came out with the trilogy (November Rain, DOn`t Cry & EStranged) and brought them to a new level.

It's extremely over the top, but I still love it.  My two favorite parts are Slash's solos.  The first one he plays as he glides past the Rainbow.  And then the one where he comes up from the ocean...that is so badass.

Excessive as Estranged was, it was still beautiful and not in the same "funny" category as ones from Grim Reaper and company. There's a difference between a corny music video and a pretentious music video. But still, as a fan who understands the trilogy and the point of the story, it's still beautiful.

Like drama_qween already posted, Van Halen has some nice videos hihi But does AC/DC's videos make any sense to anyone? But the music is great so it doesnt matter..

Yes, just look at Candlemass first videos, that's some good humour if you are in a bad mood if you ask me.

And of course, "VH1 Classics" They have the ultimate collection of corny videos.
