Im tired of buying CDS and they turn out to be the worst pieces of shit ever.

If you knew that CD was only gonna be an average album would u still want Axl to release it?

If the album isnt great and classic, I would rather he just not release it and let us just remember how great he use to be.

So many artists come back throw some shit together and blow their comeback chance, I dont want this to happen to Axl.

and the music industry wonders why sales  are down. Hello! Put out good music and the fans will buy. To my mind, the lack of solid, consistently good  acts/albums is the reason that people have resorted to downloads and boots. To be blunt: most (not all) CDs today are a waste of money. Better to buy or  download the one or two good songs. It was not always this way....

The reasons Cds today are a waste of money is because most bands put a few good songs on an album, half ass it, and hope it sells because of the name on the album. Axl is trying to make the best album he can, and if that takes more time so be it. Id rather have Axl take 6 years to make a great album, than have him put out an album  a year with just one or two good songs on it and the rest filler.

look at it this way:
axl/slash = rock legends.
axl = mysterious and reclusive rock god.
slash = washed up and disappointing, hell, even annoying.
slash tried too hard to stay in the spotlight. axl did the right thing and avoived the tragic fate of most 70's/80's rock heroes. axl can walk out on stage and the media will be all over him. slash can walk out on stage and the media will be bored with him.

It's simple i am sick of waiting it's all well and good to tell us to live our lives and i am fine living mine but as a die-hard fan and want the album if it sucks i will be pissed off but i will hope the follow-up if there is one is better, ignorance is bliss and often i believe that but i want the album like everyone else good or bad i want it, to never have it i feel would be more of a dissapointment.  If it is real bad which i highly doubt or medicore which i also doubt i'll get over it and just take joy in the other great bands and albums i am a fan of, anticipation for something can be good for a time but then it can get to the point where you are just pissed off waiting, i will wait til it arrives but i want it to arrive if only to stop the endless debating about how good it will be, what the album cover will look like, what's the tracklisting who's written what etc.
