Kane VS. Henry was just thrown together at the last minute but did it really need to be? They already had 7 (OK, 6) matches that could have been good and given a bit longer.

They should mix the gimmicks around: Cena and Khali in a Pudding Match would surely spell ratings.

Ladder Match should be really interesting. I can see Benjamin doing something spectacular in this, then the Hardyz trying to one up him. Can't wait for this! yes

Anyone think Austin was the one who got Khali into the WWE from his work in The Longest Yard? that is the same person right?

Yeah, it is and I doubt it. Adam Sandler is a huge wrestling fan and he requested wrestlers for his movie. He got Austin, Kevin Nash, Goldberg, and Khali.

and dont forget Bob Sapp.

This is what i saw and i didnt make it up this time lol:

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

The Daltons, Jesse Dalton (Ray Gordy) and Festus Dalton (Drew Hankinson), have been dropped from the main roster and sent back down to developmental.

On the May 11, 2007 edition of SmackDown, they asked General Manager Theodore Long for a match, and he told them to be at SmackDown the very next week in Baltimore. They were supposed to make their wrestling debut on the May 18, 2007 edition of SmackDown, but their match got cut from the show due to time restraints. And now creative has changed their minds on using them, hence the demotion.

I actually predicted all the matches correctly. And it had to be the one time I didn't write them down. Bah.

Steve-O of Jackass fame was backstage at the Monday Night Raw taping last night in Tampa, FL filming a commercial for SummerSlam. The commercial is scheduled to be the start of WWE incorporating the whole "Jackass" cast to be involved at the show.

God no.

To answer the question to my previous post and for those of you wondering:

source: pwmana.com

Dave Meltzer is now reporting that he will be WRESTLING in a main event at SummerSlam. Yes, you read that correctly, he will be wrestling in a main event at the show. In his MySpace message, Steve-O teased that the match was almost called off last night. That is true, but as of today, it's still on.

Also note, WWE usually has two or three "main events" at the really big shows like WrestleMania or SummerSlam. For instance, the "Battle of the Billionaires" match and the Taker vs. Batista match were considered to be "main events" even though they weren't the last matches on the card. Whatever Steve-O's involvement at SummerSlam, one would have to assume that it will be A "main event" and not THE main event.

To steal a line from Blow Up Your Video. Once again:

The main event for tonight's edition of ECW on SciFi will be ECW champion Bobby Lashley vs. 'ECW Originals' The Sandman, Balls Mahoney and Tommy Dreamer in a 3-on-1 Handicap Hardcore Match. The storyline is that an "unstable" Vince McMahon ordered the match.

Great to see 500 pages of this historic thread, here's to the next 500  beer

Former WWE writer Dan Madigan recently appeared on an online radio show talking about his experience with WWE. He said that his agent sent a movie script he had written to WWE, and they liked it so they became interested in his services. He talked about pitching a lengthy exorcism angle that would end with Stephanie McMahon being exorcized on pay-per-view. She loved the idea so much she gave him a job. He also said that when he wrote See No Evil, Vince McMahon suggested a scene where Kane would masturbate on-screen and show that he has a 36-inch penis. Madigan said that the idea wouldn't be any good and out of all the people in room, he was the only person to say anything about it. He also said that his version of the movie was much darker than the final version. He also praised Glen "Kane" Jacobs for his work in the movie. He said he quit WWE when they were on a European tour and he had to rush home because his wife had a miscarriage and his father-in-law suddenly died. As he was attending his father-in-law's funeral, he got a call telling him to come back to Europe to attend a meeting regarding Tough Enough. He then quit the company.
