Okay, bit quiet in here considering we are 3 days out of mania. I watched Raw on Monday, first wwe prog ive seen since survivor series just to get up to date and just liked that im psyched for mania which i never miss. Although there are no standout classics on the card, its gonna be one of those nights where heat rules. The atmosphere will be electric. Very rarely do we go into a mania not knowing who will win at least one title match, this year it is legitamately hard to guess the winner of one. The heat for umaga/lashley and it's aftermath will be crazy. The MITB will be awesome as per, and with only 8 matches on the 4 hour show should get a decent time allotment. And it will be interesting having ALL the divas together for the first time. Also the HOF segment will be emational, especially after the ovation JR got on RAW. Anyhoo predicaments....

It has been confirmed that Cena vs. HBK will be the last match taking place at WrestleMania on Sunday. In an article on SI.com, Batista said that he and Undertaker will steal the show like Ricky Steamboat and Randy Savage did in 1987 at WrestleMania 3. "We're going to give them a match they're going to remember. I guarantee it. We're going to tear the house down." Also, Batista and Undertaker were reportedly mad that they weren't going to be in the main event for the show.

interesting news about Carlito, about him not being on Mania & breaking Kayfabe:

One guy who was really upset about being left off of Wrestlemania is Carlito. At the WWE THQ Superstar Challenge, Carlito won one of his matches and was reportedly overheard saying, and this is not a direct quote, "Great, I can win here and can't at Wrestlemania." He wasn't in the best of spirits. To add to that, his feelings have been confirmed in an article today in the Ottawa Sun.

"I'm out of Wrestlemania," he says. Carlito then takes a subtle shot at some of the people who will be wrestling at WrestleMania by saying, "Apparently, they had to make space for Kane vs. Khali and Melina vs. Ashley. How can I be at Wrestlemania? If I politic and kiss ass, I should make it."

Carlito also added, "I'm not going to cry or be bitter, there's always next year ... and I don't want to get fired. But they're showing disrespect by not having Ric Flair at Wrestlemania and even more disrespect by not having Carlito there."

He also admits to hating his current role in WWE as a babyface. "I absolutely hate being a babyface more than anything else," he says.

WWE has a strict policy about their talent speaking to the media, and frowns upon any negative remarks such as those made by Carlito. It is extremely rare to see a WWE wrestler make comments like this, and there will almost surely be repurcussions.

Its being reported Kane will take some time off after wrestlemania because he has some sort of leg injury among others and wants time off to heal up.?I kinda like kane and was hoping taker would win the belt and they would do another brother vs. brother, ya i know its been done to death but its always entertaining.

Seems like it is gonna be worth watching tonight for the set alone....The entranceway is the tallest theyve ever had and it will morph for different superstars' entrances! ?It?s the most lights we?ve had, the most cables we?ve had, the most production trucks we?ve had, the most searchlights, the most staging we?ve ever put down and the most LED lights we?ve ever had,? says wwe set designer Jason Robinson. He also gives a comparison between raw and this event saying that for raw they use just 24 LED boards, at WrestleMania 23 there will be 414!!! 3-4 searchlights are used at a regular ppv, there will be 56 in use tonight. The sets lighting element stands at a crazy 300 x 100 feet!

It is going to look spectacular, I loved the massive dets they used at mania's X-Seven and X8 but this sounds like it will eclipse everything.

19 was good with the really long entrance ramp. They had to use golf caddies at it to get them to the curtain because the arena was that big!
