Intercontinental Championship rematch

Last week on RAW, Johnny Nitro captured the Intercontinental Championship in controversial fashion when he defeated Jeff Hardy. This week, Hardy tries to reclaim what he feels is rightfully his when he challenges Nitro for the gold? Can Hardy become a three-time Intercontinental Champion? Find out tonight

....and find out if Johnny Nitro and Jeff Hardy complete their attempt to have the most matches between the same two people in such a short space of time! Seriously has Hardy wrestled anybody except Nitro since he came back!!?!?

heres some news:

The morale in the WWE locker room has been on shaky grounds as of late. One headliner told a backstage source that he regrets his recent decision to sign a new long term deal with WWE, saying that he?d rather work in TNA.

"The guys who used to be marks for being in WWE are starting to see TNA as a better place to be," said one WWE wrestler. "TNA is seen as a viable alternative by more and more guys." They continued.

Many guys in the WWE locker room feel that TNA only has so many ?big money? spots and by signing long term deals with WWE, it leaves them with little to no leverage. Apparently WWE realizes the lack of morale in the locker room and are encouraging guys with expiring deals to re-sign several months in advance to keep them from headling a WWE event one week to showing up on TNA programming the next.

anyone have an idea who it could be? im thinking it could be Beniot

Paul Heyman and Big Show cut a promo to open the show. Heyman reveals that there will be no Rob Van Dam tonight, and also that Hardcore Holly will be in the Extreme Elimination Chamber match at December to Dismember. Backstage, Bobby Lashley attacks Holly then gives Big Show a spear, before heading to the ring and signing a contract that will see him as the sixth man in the Elimination Chamber match next month. Excellent opening segment that the crowd were hot for.

Above is a spoiler about ECW taping in England tonight  ok

Apparenty, in a recent interview, Kurt Angle said that

you can pick out the ten greatest matches in WWE history, and he guarantees he?s in all of them.

Was he just joking or did he mean it seriously? Angle's good, but to say he was involved in the Top 10 matches in WWE ever is pushing it a bit isn't it?

I don't think he actually belives that. I belive he's just promoting himself and his new affilation with TNA.  smoking

I'm digging the feuds TNA have coming up. We actually have two seperate tag feuds in The Naturals vs Team 3D and now America's Most Wanted vs LAX.

Also Austin Starr vs Alex Shelley once things kick in shall be great. Highly entertaining promos and the pay-off match shouldn't disappoint. The fans in the iMPACT Zone are just itching to cheer Shelley so his babyface turn will possibly not far into 2007. That said, they are begging to cheer Nash aswell...

Best of all is Chris Sabin's new found cockiness. I want to see him and Styles get a match that's longer than the iMPACT designations and I can see Daniels turning on Styles aswell.

Quality matches all round!

The only thing WWE needs is direction.

Hardly anything you see on Raw or Smackdown seem to happen for a reason. If they stopped having the same matches every week, used their guys to their strengths and built towards big events. WWE programming would be good to watch again!
