Ever had a moment where a particular move impressed you so much you went "awww" as you watched TV?

I got that when Angle turned the 619 into an Ankle Lock  Smiley

Aforementioned top rope angle slam.

Oh and when Shelton did that spring from the ropes to the ladder in MITB2

Chris Benoit's (and then Angle's) Rolling German Suplexes.

And, lame as it is, Hogan's "Stinky Leg Drop".

When people first started using each others finishers during the Attitude Era i think the first 2 were Austin & Rock....

...it caught on big style and seemed to be happening all the time and actually got overdone, now i miss it, i want Cena to spear Edge then have Edge nail Cena with the F-U.  The only people i remember doing it recently are The Mcmahons and they don't count cos, well, they piss me off Cheesy

Finishers don't get the same push from the commentators as they used to. You never hear stuff like, "I was speaking to Val Venis in the back, he calls this the........*Move is done* MONEY SHOT!"

Little things like that. I mean fair enough a lot of wrestlers have a move, just no name or anything.

I always thought it was dumb that one wreslter can execute another's finishing move and get the 1-2-3. I mean its supose to be their move, they should be the only ones to execute it perfect enough for a 1-2-3. I also feel it cheapens the move.

Also I really enjoyed Goldbergs Jack Hammer back in the day, durring his so called "streak" I was a huge fan of him, and he executed both the spear and Jack Hammer very well. I'll never forget being 15 watching him put The Giant in the Jack hammer and hold him above his head for 3 seconds before finishing. To me, at the time, was just unbelivable. That and when it was average sized wrestler he use to set them up, hold them above his head while moving in a small circle before finishing them off. I always enjoyed that.? smoking?

Spear and Jackhammer were so good. And in WCW in his streak he had a hype around him which he deserved.

One of the coolest entrances too.

I think it started to go downhill for him when he kicked bret and it really badly hurt him.

He never really got going in WWE and i wish he'd never arrived to be honest

No way. I really hope your joking?

It was aweful.

Goldberg looked like he destroyed people with his. Billy has less impact than a scoop slam

I think WCW and him started to go downhill when his streak ended, not that it ended but the way they it ended. It was quite cheesy with the whole stun gun. It was really just plain stupid, and than they carried that into a stun gun match, which was horrible. And from than on WCW just seemed to decline after that gimmick.

I'm glad he went to the WWE, because I was dying to see him do something in wrestling again, and I got to. Ya it wasn't his best, and they didn't help him any either. Neither did his ego. But overall I got to see small glimpses of why I liked watching him to begin with.

I also read somewhere that he is currently still in negotiations with TNA, so maybe I can see him again. A sting v. goldberg match would be cool for nostalgic purposes. Goldberg was just fun to watch, at a time when really all wrestling was fun to watch, because during the late 90's we were seeing things for the first time that is like nothing special to what happens today. smoking
