Lets make it top 10 wrestlers from August 2005 - August 2006.

If it includes TNA Samoan Joe has got to be up there. He hasn't lost yet i dont think.

In WWE unfortunatly if your goign on results then Cena has to be No#1

But if your talking about entertainment then for me Its AJ Styles from TNA and Edge from WWE

Going off 'results' blah, that's bullshit.

I think the fair way to do it is go off who your faves have been based on match quality and in-ring promo's and the like.

I promise you now Cena ain't making my top 10.

Shit! I didn't realise Allan Graf was in that either. Good Spot chap.

Right, some advice for you all... if you can (and of course want to) then get yourself down/up to Doncaster on Saturday October 14th of this year for the 1pw First Anniversary Show (and preceding Fight Club III) at the Doncaster Dome. As some of you may be aware myself and our resident (evil) film buff and almighty founder of this very thread  Arron went to their 'know your enemy' shows in earlier this year and were mighty impressed, in some case blown away. I never got round to posting my planned full review here but needless to say it was fantastic entertainmenbt from the UK's number one promotion, night two in particular was brilliant with fine displays by famous TNA and Indie regulars aswell as the cream of the British based talent. Anyway names already confirmed for the Anniversary are 1pw champ Steve Corino, Chris Daniels, AJ Styles, Lance Storm (Styles/Storm dream match all but confirmed) Dustin 'goldust' Rhodes and Teddy Hart. Get your arses over there!!!! They do run almost monthly shows now if ou can't make this one, but as it's the anniversary it will be a bit special.

My top 10 on its way....

well if it was results we wouldn't need opinions we'd just look at the facts.

put simply, you watched tna programming and wwe programming between august of this year and last, which 10 performers impressed you the most, who did you think yeah they are damn good....ya dig?

Ok then thats easy.

1/ AJ Styles

Just had some of the best matches of the year. AJ vs Samoan Joe vs Christopher Daniels was just insanely good IMO

2/ Rob Van Dam

Been waiting for years for him to get the push. Then he fucks it . . or has he. Looks like we'll find out on Tuesday. But some awesome matches including the Money in the bank at Wrestlemania

3/ Edge

So much potential for so long and finally getting his rewards. Such a shame they split him and Christian up but Edge was always the more likely. Some awesome promos (Calling HHH Conan the barbarian was a personal fav) and some Awesome matches especially with Mick Foley

4/ Samoan Joe

Machine. Unbeaten i think. Something abit different

5/Randy Orton

All the legends he has killed has been entertaining. Wicked cocky character. The Future of WWE if he can behave long enough.

6/ Rhino

My favourite promo of the year was Rhino talking about ECW. Every word true. Just annoys me how WWE fucked hom up. Massive potential and in a mouth watering feud with Samoan Joe and Monty Brown at the moment.

7/ Angle

Year in year out this guy impresses me. Loved his feuds with Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio and now in ECW im looking for some new high speed matches.

8/ Shelton Benjamin

Wish they hadn't done the Momma angle but he made the Money in the bank match along with Flair and RVD at Wrestlemania. And who can forget HBK sweet chin music on him as he leapt from the top rope. A awesome athlete who in my opinion has so much more to give

9/ HHH

Solid as ever. A great wrestler who put on some memorable matches this year with Flair, Batista (3 times) and Cena. So suprised he tapped out to Cena and i wish he hadn't but maybe he has one big last title reign in him. the new DX sucks but somehow you know that HHH is the only thing that makes it even half credible. Hall of famer in the future and love him or hate him . . you know how good he is.

10/ Christian

Fucking great year for him. Got out of WWE where he was undervalued and had a decent run as TNA world champ. Great on the mic and the splash from high above at Lockdown was a reminder of his TLC days.

Special Mention

Rey Mysterio
John Cena
Batista

These 3 (especially the latter 2) dominated the federation in the the last year and the only reason why i did not choose them is i thnk Rey was a little bit 'Dream come True' that i've seen a 100 times before. Batista beating HHH 3 times and then getting injured when he should have been becoming a world beater and Cena coz 'I can't see him' .. . . thats i dont want to see him.

Teddy does rule, check out his match on mediazone with the incredible 'man that gravity forgot' Pac at Fight Club II(I think) 1pw MOTY contender.

Speaking of mediazone, I may be forced to purchase TNA Hard Justice this sunday, there are two mouth watering triple threat matches on the card

Senshi (Low Ki) v Petey Williams v Jay Lethal for the X Title and a falls count anywhere with Rhino, Monty Brown and Samoa Joe.

Bill Goldberg confirmed in an email to members of his official fan club this week that he has signed a 90-day holding-deal with Spike TV and is meeting with executives next week. Goldberg was quoted saying the following: "The holding-deal definitely means that I now will talk with TNA Wrestling, but nothing further than that.? He then confirmed he was going to wrestle August 20th for Gladiator Championship Wrestling, but it conflicted with his Spike TV deal.

Perhaps a TNA deal is possible.
