I remember once Heel Eddie Guerrero lost to Face Edge on Smackdown in 2002, and Eddie's part in the match was so strong he was the one who got an ovation for it. So yeah, if done right a job won't damage you.
Hence the reason people like Goldberg wan so many short matches, a loss and the fans would no doubt turn on him.
Speaking of GOldberg. I missed about 2-3 years of watching wrestling around WM XX. I just downloaded the Goldberg Lesnar match, because people said it was bad. My god Lesnar and Goldberg have no talent and if you see the match you know their opponents carried them through their careers. At one point goldberg started getting up and lesnar glently pushed his shoulder back down and got a 2.9 count on the mat. That might be the WORSE match I have ever seen.

Goldberg's contract was up after that match and Lesnar publicly quit WWE just 5 days before Wrestlemania. Hence the fact the match sucked. No effort whatsoever.

It sucked but ruled. The crowd made that match hilarious and really enjoyable......

In the opposite kind of way when compared to the Hogan/Rock Wrestlemania match.

Question for people who've been to live wrestling events before.....
Look at this link of the floor plan of the m.e.n. arena.
Seats are left for the Raw & Smackdown tapings in November, seats are in the green blocks, the upper tiers.....
http://www.men-arena.com/uploads/documents/jun_05/men_1118833410_M.E.N_Arena_Floor_Plan.jpg
is it worth it for those kind of seats or is the view shit?
The total cost for 2 tickets for those seats is like ?70.

Go for the experience...when me and Mr No Money In The Bank went a couple of years ago we sat in 114 for Raw and A for Smackdown, on the floor.
The experience is all that matters man...go check out a 1PW event though, you will never want to go back to WWE after that!
Thats the reason i havent watched any wrestling since then bar the ECW PPV which i thoroughly enjoyed.

He also talks bad about Sid Vicious and how he was a waste and only made money cause of his look but was absolutely horrible.
He got into a fight backstage with Bischoff at Raw over all the shit Bischoff did to him in WCW. Said Bisch was on the cell phone and Ric walked up and said he needed to talk to him and Bisch held up a finger.
Ric said he smacked Bischoff in the face threw three punches at him, Bischoff fell onto the couch and Ric straddled him and pointed his finger in the guy and he cursed him and stood up and told Bischoff to come on.
SGT Slaughter broke it up.
U will also really hate Hulk Hogan if u read this book.
U see why WCW went to shit.
