If the X Division sold every move, their matches would last half an hour!
What's your friends promotion called D?

That's no bad thing, they need a better timeslot for that.
If they learnt to sell moves though they would not need to cram as many in, they do that everytime eventually the novelty wares off....

Part of the appeal though is never knowing what comes next.
Watching Sonjay Dutt tear it up in the ring is amazing.

Blah! It loses it's emphasis when it's done so often the moves lose there appeal.
There was a time when a headlock impressed folks.
And i thought
WWE
was bad for people kicking out of finishers, in
TNA
it happens so often people might as well stop calling them finishers, at least in
WWE
they take ten seconds to crawl over to them and make the cover, in
TNA
they cover them straight after the move and they still kick out, the dudes could be just as impressive if they sold the moves, people keep wanting bigger and better things because they don't sell the lesser moves....ahhh...i'll stop now i feel like
Vince Mcmahon
at a meeting with his
Cruiserweight Division
....
....really though dude there's a fine balance.
WWE
is at one end boring, nothing that fun or high flying and
TNA
is at the other, too much packed in and no selling. Give me the division that strikes the middle ground i'll be happy, closest i've seen to that is
ROH
....and they have the half hour matches

Is anyone else thinking the New ECW will suck? I mean it will be owned by Vince and WWE. They will not be able to perform like ECW should be able to perform. WWE is a buisness worth a lot of money and they will not risk their wrestler's safty to try and have branch of the company wrestle under the ECW name. I hope its good and I hope they let the guys go out and wrestle and really wrestle and give the crowd they expect at an ECW show. And it won't work in Arena's. You need a small place like the old ECW arena. I recent rumors were to tape before Smackdown

I have no idea to be honest. I guess after the first show we will have a fair idea of how it's going to work.

Was anybody else disappointed with the reveal of Stings partner on TNA tonight? I had no idea who it was gonna be but with all the old WCW wreslter's he was rolling out I was kinda hoping for someone from his past to be his partner. I was disappointed it was only Samoa (i cant spell?) Joe. I mean I thought it woulda been cooler to see the dog faced gremlin wreslte again, cuz its been so long since ive seen him on tv. They should sign him..or is he already signed, i've only been getting into tna for like the last couple months...

Ya i am agreeing with that..it seems like its not gonna be too good, I don't like how their putting it over so far, I mean that Joey Styles thing was just stupid, and the Mankind heel thing. The mankind thing just reminded of that invasion storyline where they beat the crap out of the wcw wreslters like if they were chumps. It just didnt go over well with me, the crowd didn't even really seem to care and i was just watching going, ok this just isn't working. It was cheap, its like triple h doing the chop for no reason. Though we'll have to wait for the first show though...I do think it could work in regular arena, it might not have that total ecw feel cuz the big arena but if wrestling is old school ecw it will work just fine, but on the other hand not all current wwe fans liked ecw and they might not get the total crowd into it like they did before, if its full with those types of fans for the smackdown tapes.
One more thing..I agree that the DX thing should be done slowly, I hope they do it right. I'm excited about raw since wrestlemania, i really liked it..too bad backlash kinda sucked. And for the love of god will they please switch chris masters over to smackdown..i cant sit through another stupid masterlock challenge.? And will someone tell me why kurt angle isn't on raw..his ring work is just awesome. His matches are just fun to watch..and hearing the crowd yell you suck just gets me all teary eyed..i fuckin love it.?
They should just make raw 3 hours fire some chumps and cut smackdown. And then put on one hell of show...that or find someone to actually make smackdown watchable.

The
Mick Foley
heel turn did not work to well....
...but that
Joey Styles
thing was FANTASTIC dude. One of the best things on
Raw
in a long, long time, it was a great shoot promo and i thought it was a damn good way to start the
ECW
thing.
It's a given that
WWE
may fuck this up, i have my doubts, but i say give it a chance, they may surprise you. With
Paul Heyman
as the creative mind big things are possible, his major weakness was being a bad businessman, with the money of
WWE
behind him cool things could be possible. I say just look at it as a new promotion and if it entertains you, great. It can't be the company of old but it can still be damn good and is an ideal way to give new guys a chance.
CM Punk
is supposedly really liked by
Heyman
and should be pushed a lot and
Ken Kennedy
is rumoured to be part of the promotion as a top heel

Angle
isn't on
RAW
because
Smackdown
needs star value. He also suits the
Smackdown
brand since they have the better 'wrestlers',
RAW
has the better 'entertainers', and since this is sports entertainment fan support is generally with
RAW
. I enjoy both and up until a few weeks ago i found
Smackdown
to be much more superior.
Finlay
,
Benoit
,
Angle
,
Mysterio
,
MNM
,
Booker T
&
JBL
have helped make it entertaining and also a great wrestling show. One reason is because creative ignores the show (i.e. they don't wreck it
). On a serious note though they seem to give the brand more freedom and allow more wrestling to take place which i am really behind. The last few weeks though is has been disappointing but i attribute that to guys like
Mark Henry
&
The Great Khali
Thankfully word is
Khali
will be getting sacked after
Judgment Day
Get In!
Quick Question dude....are you called
High Times
after
Kronik
's finishing move? Or because you just like getting high? Or both?

Yeah I just read that Khali thing too. Och well, what is it with WWE and hiring people only to find that they are pure shite a few weeks later.
Who remembers Nathan Jones? They booked him to face Chuck Palumbo on Smackdown in 2003, only to have a backstage beat down to excuse him from the match. They would'nt even let him near the ring! Just as well because rumour has it he totally fucked up his debut. He was meant to make a run in to save The Undertaker from a A-Train/Big Show beat down and basically fell over as he ran to the ring, leading to the whole segment being shot again!
How about Kenzo Suzuki folks? Originally booked as Hirohito, believe it or not this fucker was going to get a top line push and face Chris Benoit for the World Title at Bad Blood 2004. Kane got the nod instead after Tajiri advised Vince not to go ahead with the gimmick and ruin the WWE/Japan market. Then once he appeared on Smackdown, turns out he was awful!

It's
Simon Dean
when he was
Nova
.....He rules!
Edit.....
Todd Shane of the Gymini suffered a pectoral injury, and had to miss last night's Deep South tapings. It is not known how long he will be out. For the tapings, Lex Lovett (formerly of TNA) was brought in as the 3rd Gymini. No word if he has signed a WWE deal of any form or not. Lovett has worked the Florida Indies for years, and has a lot of experience working with and against the Shane's.
A 3rd
Gymini
? There is a God!
(Although i heard he's on a losing streak
)

I'm High_Times because i get high, i didnt remember his move was high times till you told me, i had forgotten about that.
Ands thats great news about Khali getting sacked..now its just time for the same fate to fall to henry.
Oh and I like J.R. i'm glad he's back, him and king crack me up, I just want him to say "LOOK AT THE CARNAGE!!"...he doesnt say that anymore and that use to crack me up. Don't get me wrong i like Joey Styles, its just J.R. and king have been the voice of wwe for so long, somethings missing when their not there together.
