WWE released Tank Tolland and Chad Wicks (The Dicks) last week. The main reason they were released was because of a fight between Tolland and Wicks.

Wicks was constantly being ribbed and hazed by a number of the veteran Smackdown wrestlers including JBL, Chris Benoit and The Undertaker. Wicks handled the ribbing poorly, and he'd often complain about it, which lead to even more ribbing. Tolland felt that Wicks' constant complaining would put their jobs in jeopardy. Just recently, the tag team partners had a physical altercation as Tolland punched Wicks. The fight put WWE management in a sticky situation because they couldn't possibly justify firing the wrestler who was punched and not the wrestler who did the punching. And thus, WWE decided to just release the both of them.

Tolland and Wicks will be going their separate ways on the indy scene.

They should of been split on Smackdown and had a shoot fight

PWInsider reports that Scott Steiner is in talks with TNA Wrestling about coming in for the promotion's impending jump to Spike TV's Thursday night primetime lineup.

No deal has yet been made, but the discussions are believed to be serious.

This news comes on the heels of reports that TNA was looking to secure as many as five top "Monday Night Wars" era pro wrestlers not currently attached to WWE.

He's only worth it if he's on the VERY cheap.  Even then i'm not sure.  He's a physical wreck, all he could add to the company is a bit of name value, saying that anyone who saw his last WWE run would not but inspired to tune into TNA to see him........

I noticed a couple of you asking about Saturday Night's Main Event. I watched wrestling all the time in those days, and it was a 90 minute special, all 'main event' matches, and would come on once every two to three months. Some great moments have happened at those. They always used it to really hype an upcoming wrestlemania, survivor series,etc.

While backstage at TNA, Charlie Haas said be decided to go back to WWE because TNA showed no interest in him.

With the right gimmick they could of made a main eventer out of Haas, and it would be something fresh, he was never utilised enough by WWE for people to remember his past too much.....

All i can say is that if they sign Steiner they have him feud with Jarrett for his entire tenure so they face each other every ppv, thus having one bad match/piss break every month and leaving the rest of the real talent to deal with each other.
