It better not be, i want a wrestler goddamn although seems like they're gonna run some kind of feud, maybe it will be Carlito vs. Shaq at Wrestlemania XXII, better be an improvement on Lawrence Taylor vs. Bam Bam Bigelow back at Wrestlemania XI

From WWE.com

Last night at the AmericanAirlines Arena, RAW Superstar Carlito verbally abused Jason Williams after the Miami Heat suffered a disappointing 107-98 loss to the Phoenix Suns. While the cocky Superstar was berating Williams, Shaquille O'Neal walked up behind Carlito and smashed him with a chair.

I think Cena is gonna lost this Sunday. He got the upper hand on Raw.
Treu but the weird thing is still Edge vs. HHH, Heel vs. Heel Huh

Oh and on Byte This Grisham said there would be one surprise entrant.....

....Tatanka maybe Undecided

Well i hope so, when he returned a few months back i was so annoyed and dissapointed cos he was so out of shape but from what i've read he's worked really hard and got himself back into shape so i say, bring him back!

Triple H isn't a heel anymore. Listen to the crowds reaction. You can see it turning. He'll keep his heel type persona but the fans are starting to love him again. Triple H would definately get the face crowd reaction if he were to go up against Edge.

Fans have cheered him for years, that's irrelevant they don't book heels vs. heels in 'Mania main events.....

Naahh, that's always happened with big heels like the H after they've had a long absence.

Whenever Triple H has been away and then come back, he's always got a huge reaction.

They just need him to beat up some old timers or slap some women about, and the boo's will come pouring back.

Some heels just get cheered it's the way it is, fans appreciate great wrestling....

...that's why Angle was more over than HBK at last years Wrestlemania, fans backed the better wrestler it happens and HHH facing off against Big Show or Cena is bound to get cheers....

.....Edit

Despite the angle on WWE.com, there are no plans for Shaquille O'Neal to work either Royal Rumble or WrestleMania ? the Miami Heat have road games on the dates of both pay-per-views.

Oh, of course.

My point is though, that if WWE want HHH to be a heel, them he's perfectly capable of getting himself enough boo's.

Yeah, fans appreciate great wrestling, but the majority of them are still going to boo the 'bad guy' under most circumstances...

Yeah my point was he is the bad guy, and he likes playing the role just like Edge is to and turning either of them is so unlikely, i was just making the point that the 2 facing off one an one just ain't gonna happen Tongue

Never say never in WWE. Smackdown was pretty good last night i felt. The Mexicools are fast becoming my favourite tag team.

Btw Kid Kash has been added to the Rumble in a Cruiserweight Invitational. The ad hinted towards a 1 on 1 match though.

Yeah and that link you gave me hints at him facing Funaki Oooooo the excitement, that match is what has swung things for me, i gotta buy this PPV now, Woooooo! Woooo! Roll Eyes

Yeah they are awesome wrestlers and have adapted well to the toned down WWE style, all they need now is a mouthpiece for the group.? Although if you suggest that to WWE they'll probably bring back Savio Vega to be their manager.....now that's a career killer hihi

1wrestling.com

For this Monday's episode of RAW, previews on the USA Network are saying to tune in to "Find out who shocked the world to earn a main event title shot at Wrestlemania".

The preview refers to this Sunday's Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Does the wording of the preview suggest that the winner of the Rumble will be a shock?

Mmmmm, Rey Mysterio maybe?

 rofl rofl rofl

They are both great talents, however Angle, towers above anyone wrestling wise within the company.

Shawn is good but he is as his slogan states, "The Showstopper", hes there to put on a show and he is a consumate entertainer, make no mistake about that.

Angle is arguably the best "wrestler" the company has ever had.

I think TNA should drop some of their backstage skits.

TNA have great entertaining as hell wrestling, but some of their wrestlers are total SHIT on the Mic and they need to let the guys who are good at it, do it but keep the people who suck at it off.

AJ Styles is a great wrestler, horrible actor.

Jackie Gayda is horrible.

Ron The Truth is horrible

I watch some of that and fuckin cringe its so bad.

So they need to address that.

I know u gotta give people a chance to get better but these above are promo hopeless.

Royal Rumble predictions:

Ashley over Mickie James leading to Trish/Mickie feud

JBL over Boogeyman via DQ, I can also see this being a double countout or Boogeyman winning by a countout, it wont be a clean finish.

Kurt Angle over Henry

Edge over Cena I pray

Royal Rumble winner: Randy Orton who will face Kurt angle at WM.

Angle is way better, he's a suplex machine, a submission specialist and he's also one fast bastard, even Shawn in his prime wasn't as good of wrestler, Shawn combined highflying stuff with wrestling but he was more the entertainer than actual wrestler, he is good but wrestling wise he just ain't as good.  When Angle takes 'em to ground he's had a variety of moves he is so techniquely sound, and when it comes to deciding who the best wrestler is in the company you have to look at Benoit, Angle & Benjamin.  If they can get Benjamin sorted with a good gimmick he really is a star of the future, the way he can just spring up to the top rope, and the way he ran up that ladder last year at Wrestlemania, all his varying suplexes, his agility, speed etc. he has so much potential.  What HBK has is that all round greatness he can carry pretty much anyone as can the 3 i mentioned and he also has unbelievable mic skills and charisma much better than most, and i adore his overacting in the ring, it was that which made his match with Hogan great.  When Angle carried Hogan it wasn't overacting or charisma or playing to the crowd that did it, it was pure wrestling.  Now HBK is my all time fave, he always has been but when it comes to wrestling, Angle is better.  Although i would say Benoit rivals Angle very closely, i think Angle edges it but only just, Benoit is a better techniquel wrestler.

Agreed, i mean it's quite stupid really.  What annoys me the most is this Gayda/Kim/Jarrett shit.  For a company that boasts about being different from WWE and being about the wrestling this storyline makes 'em look stupid.  It's the kind of shit WWE would do except it's acted and written ten times worse, i mean come on, stop being stupid!

Also what's with the refs, they hardly ever DQ people even when they clearly cheat, i think it was Final Resolution where the ref would not DQ Samoa Joe because he was scared of him.....

.....and you also had the ref make a 3 count in the Tag Title Match even though he had been blinded, how the hell did he know the shoulders were down?  I would explain the rest of this stupid match but it got even stupider and more annoying......

....now this final criticism is just my opinion, but, well, i really don't like the 6 sided ring, it just doesn't feel right i want the old school 4 sided ring, it's one of those things that is meant to be.....

.....and finally, less Jarrett on TV, and Jerry Lynn & Shane Douglas get wrestling again, as backstage characters you are really annoying, whereas in the ring your great, especially Lynn your fucking amazing!

Mickie James over Ashley

Boogeyman over JBL

Kurt Angle over Mark Henry

Edge over Cena

I would actually go as far as saying that I dislike Shawn's overacting.

It just really doesn't do it for me...

Now, don't get me wrong, I fucking love the guy. But it's that which makes me like him slightly less than the rest of you in here.  Undecided

And it's also the reason that I didn't really enjoy his match with Hulk Hogan that much. It was all right, just...

Well if you guys are talking actual wrestling than yeah Angle is the man no doubt. But if we're talking in ring "performers" than I don't think h touches Shawn. Sure Shawn has losta  step or two but Pro Wrestling isn't necessarily about wrestling as much as it is about performing. You know what I mean. That'd be like saying in reality Ken Shamrock was the toughest guy in WWE. WEll no kidding he's was an actual Ultimate Fighting Champion. Angle is an actual wrestling champion(NCAA and Olympics) there's no question he's the best WRESTLER but in my mind he's not the best PERFORMER.

They both work their asses of performing like crazy and i don't think you will found a better performer than Angle either.

Angle is an amazing wrestler and an amazing entertainer, he can do the wonderful highflying stuff just as easily, i think the only thing Shawn Michaels is actually superior to Kurt is on his mic skills.....

.....there both awesome though HBK is my favourite just because i love the character, the attitude, his style, those little things he adds to his matches, but is he the best, no.......

.....the question is how do you measure who the best is?? It's a subjective thing, although anyone who says Hacksaw Jim Duggan has big problems.....

......if you measure it on popularity then there is simply one winner, Hulk Hogan, the landmark name, the guy who along with Vince Mcmahon made WWE, obviously other names helped but those are the 2 stand out ones, just like Austin is the stand-out name from the Attitude Era which saved the company and he is probably the No.2, see as wonderful as guys like Bret Hart & Shawn Michaels were they had their time on top in the company during some of it's worst years, success wise and quality wise.......

.....i've always liked his overacting, i mean i'm passionate about the business but i obviously like we all realise it isn't real.? It's a work.? Now i know they should make it look as realistic as possible but sometimes you want a bit of light relief, i think he does he damn well, although i know Bret Hart hates it, but Bret is VERY old school.? I think at Summerslam in his match with Hogan his overacting especially at the end came across more as a piss-take, i mean when he nailed the big boot on Shawn, he went down and bounced up again span round then fell down, i found it hilarious, very cartoon era WWF, it's all good, for me it's a part of his character and in his own way his homage to Ric Flair

Yeah there's no denying Angle's talent I've just never been amazed with his matches the way I have been with some of HBK's.  As for best of all time I think it's alwasys gonna depnd on who you ask. I mean a casual fan who watches once in awhile and doesn't really know much will probably say guys like Hogan, The Rock, or Austin but if you ask true fans guys like Ricky Steamboat, HBK, Bret Hart, those typoes of guys will get more run. And I agree that the way Shawn embelished his falls against Hogan was hilarious. Almost as if he was mocking the devestateing leg drop and big boot. I mean let's face it those are probably the most deadly finnishing moves of all time Grin
