If you go to this link in the news section it tells you about patches and how faulty discs can be replaced seems there have been a few and if you can't do season mode i am guessing yours is one of them...judging by the review i would just get my money back, Smackdown vs. Raw for the PS2 now that is a class wrestling game.

Well it's good having Shelton Benjamin have the belt he is one of the greatest IC champions of recent years.  Great wrestler great matches and i want him to remain at this level for another year or two, not because i don't like the guy...i think he's real good but that's why this division needs people like him and the world title scene always gets crowded and he still needs to polish his mike skills before getting pushed to this level.  Snitsky & Vis were...kinda humerous...were we watching the same show?  They were awful, i fail to see the funny side of Vis humping his opponent, it's degrading and you could say it's hinting at gay rape but that's another story...fact is these guys are awful the gimmicks suck and there in-ring skills are even worse they are a joke.  Remove Snitsky, Vis, Hurricane, Rosey, Chris Masters, Lita, Christy, Maven, Reinstate Matt Hardy, Molly Holly & Jazz, bring up The Thrillseekers tag team from OVW, move over The Dudley Boyz so these 2 can feud with Regal/Tajiri & The Hearthrobs, debut Kid Kash & C.M. Punk on Raw move HHH & Chris Jericho to Smackdown and you have a damn good show, which can have a decent Intercontinental Title feud and improved Tag Division and a fresh World Title picture.

Yea, I'm glad Carlito's on Raw and got the IC title, he should retain at Vengance.

The Vengance card looks pretty good apart from Kane's involvement ?nervous HBK v Angle should be the highlight and I'm hoping it gets the same time as it did at Mania. I'm glad there's no tag match as all the Raw teams are shit.

Predictions:

HIAC: ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? I'm not sure about this 1, could go either way but probbaly HHH
Triple Threat: ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?Not sure about this 1 either, I'd like to see Y2J or Christian win it and go to Smackdown! but Cena will probably retain.
WM21 Rematch: ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? HBK won't job twice in a row.
IC Title: ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?Carlito to retain
Grudge match: ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?Edge to get pushed further
Womens: ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Who cares, probably Christy tho.

Never bothered spending the cash i earned on titles i spent it on CAW, made Ultimate Warrior & Abyss [TNA], proper good since they got the Ultimate Warrior's moveset on the game, taunts, finishers and all apart from music...pretty damn good.  If you search about on the net you'll find plenty of CAW some very good and also a list of which characters movesets are on the game there's something like 50+ i think, looking forward to the new one at the end of this year with improved roster and hopefully a much better story mode although it's cool having the voice overs in they sound kind of lackluster and the story mode gets repetative soon...not much variation, best story mode on a wrestling game ever was No Mercy on the N64 that was so awesome so many different scenario's.

Has anyone been getting any of the Tagged Classics DVDs WWE have been releasing lately.  They are really good, chance to get the classic events again and since there are 2 events to each thing it's like ?14.99 for 2 classics...great stuff...i picked up the 1993 + 1994 Royal Rumble today classic stuff, one of the best matches of 1993 Marty Jannety vs. Shawn Michaels, the Owen Hart heel turn in 1994 and the great Bret Hart/Lex Luger joint victory, so good relieving childhood memories only complaint is there are no extras.  Other cool DVDs i've noticed coming out are a double disc Legion of Doom one and Best of Undertaker one, some pretty good matches listed on both these.  What cracks me up is they are supposed to be releasing a double disc Ultimate Warrior DVD, i would struggling filling one disc with decent matches, 2 come to mind and that's it Ultimate Warrior vs. Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania VI & Macho Man vs. Ultimate Warrior at Summerslam '92.

Because of Rick Rude it depends on whether they go for the classic matches or obvious e.g. they're medicore Wrestlemania match.  They should bring out a Mr. Perfect DVD one of the best in-ring performers ever and probably the best person never to win the big one.

Vengeance Review

Intercontinental Championship: Carlito vs. Shelton Benjamin
The night started off with this match which i found quite boring, i expected better with the two involved but the idea to slow the match down and play Benjamin as injured throughout created a real boring match, good to see Carlito retain though and he had quite a few chants throughout as well, when will he get a finishing move though?

Christy Hemme vs. Victoria
Thankfully this was kepy quite short, as a women's match this wasn't to bad thanks to Victoria, but all credit to Christy she seems to be working her ass off to improve in the ring and she is getting better....still these two will never compete with the great matches put on by Bull Nakano and Alundra Blayze.

Kane vs. Edge w/Lita
This match was dominated by Kane seems they are trying to make him seem like a monster again for the 97th time, standard match, attempted interference from Snitzky backfired Kane finished with a chokeslam, nothing special but hey what do you expect.

Wrestlemania 21 Rematch: Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels
This was definately match of the night (only just though...i'll explain in a bit). ?They started off with the standard slow wrestling building into some exciting action. ?A perfect german suplex from Angle onto the announce table, an awesome looking powerbomb into the turnbuckle, Michaels tuning up the band only to be taken out while he was still in the corner. ?The end of the match had a great swerve though, Angle had the Ankle Lock on Michaels flipped him over knocking the ref down, Michaels was then tossed to the outside and was rolling about holding his knee, now i know that he recent absence was due to a knee injury and when some officials came over to check on him for a second i thought he might actually be injured, i realised he wasn't when Angle came over and attacked him again though. ?He threw him back in the ring and locked it back on...and you know normally in a match if you injure a body part and your opponent gets their finishing submission move locked on that part that's it. ?He seemed to be in the move for an eternity trying every which way to get out, he finally did and even nailed Sweet Chin Music, Angle kicked out though and went to the top rope only to be met by mid-air Sweet Chin Music, Michaels got the 3-count this time and hobbled to the back. ?When Angle left the ring though he looked to be crying and i just get the feeling this isn't over yet, Angle vs. Michaels 3...hell why not i could watch these 2 wrestle all day.

Vis & Lilian Garcia. ?Fuck why did these 2 get a 20 minute segment? ?She came out and called him out proposed marriage, he said he would consider it and i thought fuck could this get any worse...but then...things picked up because The Godfather returned, good to see him, it's been awhile, anyway to cut a long story short Vis decided to go with the Ho's instead and left Lilian in the ring in tears.

WWE Title Match: John Cena vs. Chris Jericho vs. Christian
Pretty cool entertaining match, now Cena was carried by his counterparts but hell i can't complain 'cos it made it all the more entertaining, it was quite obvious who would win though, Christian took the F-U and did the job so i see the feud progressing with just Jericho and Cena now...looks like Christian may be out of the picture already.

World Title 'Hell In A Cell' Match: HHH vs. Batista
This was so close to being match of the night these 2, HHH especially really put on a great match and did a good job of covering up their weaknesses. ?Now these 2 ain't gonna take a sick bump they are way to bing it just won't happen but the weapons they got out in the cell were great and quite fresh for WWE, Steel Chair covered in Barb Wire made for some entertaining stuff and you should have seen how red Batista's back was after being hit with it, Batista spinbuster onto the Steel Steps, hanging Batista with a Chain, Sledgehammer (as usual), great ending though. ?Batista set up for the powerbomb and HHH had the Sledgehammer in his hand so you expected the standard hitting Batista over the head when he got him up for the powerbomb but Batista was too quick and nailed the powerbomb before HHH could use it. ?I have to give credit to HHH, for jobbing a 3rd time in a row and making Batista look like a star in the ring for the first time in his career, Batista actually looked competent around the ring...maybe it was those white boots...i remember when HHH fought at Wrestlemania 20 in white boots he put on one of his best performances for years...mmmmmm.

All in all a great PPV, 2 awesome matches, 1 good, 2 ok and 1 poor but the 2 awesome matches stole the show, A- ok

I posted this because i thaught it was hilarious..

-- The ECW One Night Stand DVD was released Tuesday and their is an alternative track commentary feature. It's commentary of JBL as he watched the ECW PPV from the balcony that evening. Here are some of the more notable things he had to say.

- He keeps on calling Mike Awesome: "Mike Awful."

- As Masato Tanaka comes out, JBL yells five or six times: "THATS MY DOORMAN!"

- As Tommy Dreamer comes out, he says, "This is the main event??"

- As Sandman looks under the ring: "What's he looking for now, a treadmill?" "Or an oxygen tank!"

- As the BWO comes out: "And you wonder why they went out of business"

- About Blue Meanie: "Fat f--- with blue hair. Go find your porn star wife!"

- About Meanie as he's dancing on the middle rope: "It looks like a donkey screwing a basketball, him being up there. Go donate your body to science fiction, you fat lowly lowly (yes, he says it twice) pig. He looks like a blue haired 800 pound Abe Lincoln."

- As Big Stevie Cool is giving his speech: "Go home now."

- As Kash comes down: "This is a carnival."

- On Balls: "They're chanting balls" and then chants along with them saying "balls" approximately 100 times before saying, "You know if you really beat someone, you lick them. Does this mean you lick balls."

- On Axl: "Has anyone heard of the Atkins diet"

- On Balls & Axl (this is funny because of Johnny Ace's interest in signing them): "Who are the fat guys who came in?"

- On the main event: "This could be awful, but it might not be good. I gotta be drunk for this one."

- Regarding Mike Awesome: "Someone run in make Awesome use one of his 93 finishers..."

- When Lance Storm runs in: "You can hear the paint dry. Here comes the most boring man in the history of boring. Lance Storm couldn't fill an arena if you gave free beer and free tickets. They say he's retiring today, (mumbled) if a tree falls in a forest, no one cares. National Hockey League. No one cares."

- Lance gets thrown out: "Is his career over now? Bye Lance, don't come back."

- As the flaming table gets lit: "Now that's heat! Is there not a fire marshal in the New York state watching this?"

What i find amusing is this is like a 'shoot' commentary especially the Blue Meanie stuff, shows the power he has backstage though to get away with the stuff he has recently, i think i might buy the DVD for the commentary alone.

Steve Austin was recently interviewed for The London Sun, discussing several topics including the match that never happened with Goldberg, on the possibility of wrestling Hulk Hogan, his thoughts on the ECW One Night Stand show, and much more.

On Wrestling Hulk Hogan: "I'd be happy to get it on with Hulk Hogan. I've heard what he's been saying - and that match is something that could definitely happen. If they can build it right, the money is right, the event is right and if the story can be told correctly then, yeah, I will fight him. I've never wrestled the guy before and I think it would be an important match. Because it would be the two biggest draws in the history of the wrestling business one-on-one for the first time ever."

On ECW One Night Stand: "I loved that PPV. It was exactly what ECW was about - violence, calamity, bloodshed, brutality and some very interesting characters. I was a part of ECW for a short time and basically started honing my character there, before I came into the WWE. But I don't think One Night Stand will have a tremendous affect on the business, as far as like, 'oh, we'll have one every month now'. I think this thing happened for a reason, because it needed to happen, and I'd love to see one or two a year. But you don't want to prostitute it out by doing anything more than that. When you look at the business in the long haul, that was a great shot of adrenalin, a little burst, but you really have to tell stories through gradual transgressions. You can't go out there every week and hit them with everything you've got."

The Reaction of WWE Performers to the ECW PPV: "Everybody was certainly affected by what they saw and felt. Because if you went to that event - and I don't care if you've wrestled for 20 years, one year or zero years - and didn't notice how into that show the crowd was then you probably don't have a pulse."

The Match with Bill Goldberg That Never Happened: "When Vince bought WCW out in 2001, Bill was still making guaranteed money (from his AOL/Time Warner contract) by sitting in the house. So OK, I respect the fact that he's a businessman and he made his money. But had he jumped to the WWE when I was running strong and going crazy - and everything was just unbelievable business wise - it could have been the biggest feud of all time. He could have made more working with me than sitting on his butt taking WCW's money. I'm not knocking what he did but no one can say WWE missed the boat and no can say I missed the boat - Bill Goldberg missed the boat."

His Relationship with Vince McMahon: "In most business instances we've always seen eye-to-eye. But sometimes, where I thought maybe Vince was being influenced by someone else, that was when that contact broke down. For example, when I found out about that one deal when they wanted to beat me on Raw with Brock Lesnar in an unadvertised match. I said: 'I'm the guy who picked this company up from nothing and carried it for many years on my back and all of a sudden you want me to go out and do a job to this guy who's trying to get over? No, it doesn't work like that.' It was a bad business decision and I wasn't going to have any part of it. My answer was to say: 'F*** you, I'm walking out.'"

Just checked my dates i was a little out, it was 5 days after he walked out that he beat up his wife Debra (former Jeff Jarrett manager), he was put on probabtion for a year and banned from drinking beer, totally pisses me off i have no time for men who hit women.

Chavo Guerrero one of the standerd bearers of the re-emerging cruiserweight division, very good in-ring...what the hell is he going to do now...stupid pointless trade.
Danny Basham has no hopes as a single wrestler just like Doug Basham doesn't they may not of had a great gimmick but in-ring were good and were one of the few tag teams left, totally stupid move.
Simon Dean going to Smackdown is a great move hopefully they can push him into a US Title feud down the line or have him in the Cabinet as the guy who keeps them in shape.
Steven Richards is a great talent and has been severly wasted for years he is another one who i would like to see challenge for the US Title.
Sylvain Grenier is not too bad in-ring but needs a new gimmick if he continues with this gimmick as a solo star he is doomed.
Candice....Who?
William Regal Master on the mic, technically great in-ring but comes across as boring, in desperate need of a tag partner on Smackdown, with the right dude he could be a great addition to the division.
Kenzo Suzuki (with Hiroko) I don't actually mind this gimmick but i pray this guy has polished his in-ring skills, maybe they could turn Tajiri heel and form The New Orient Express yes
Rene Dupree...mmmm....i wonder if La Resistance will be re-formed with Rob Conway i hope not because the gimmick is stale, he needs to drop the french stuff, stop prancing about in the ring and then he has potential as things stand i see him as a Heat regular within' a month.
Mark Jindrak This guy is still not great in the ring the only time i have seen him shine was with Garrison Cade, maybe when he returns the best option for these 2 is to reform...who knows

Breaking up the Bashams was an idiotic move.  As a team they're pretty good, but it should be very obvious that neither can make it as a singles wrestler.  And how many times are they gonna reform La Resistance?  I also don't understand taking Chavo away from the Cruiserweight division.
