Chris Candido has died, R.I.P.  For anyone who did not know him he was known as Skip of The Body Donnas w/ his manager Sunny [also his wife in real life - Tammy Sytch ]  The gimmick did suck and he had little success, quite unfortunate really since he was a good wrestler he also has spells in WCW & ECW.  He and his wife had personal problems for example drug addictions but recently he had got his career back on track again working for TNA.  Unfortunately his broke his leg and due to complications in the surgery is now dead at 33...another wrestling tragedy.

Chris Candido's brother, Johnny Candido, made the following statement in regards to his brother's death.

"I find it only fitting you hear the truth from me about the death of my bestfriend, brother, and soulmate. Chris died tonight due to a blood clot brought on by complications with his surgery. I just want to tell everyone that in their sorrow, find a way to be happy that he went out the way he wanted to...on top of the world, blonde, tan, and loving life up until the last minute. Every ounce of my brother loved this sport, and for him to go out 2 or 3 years ago wouldn't have been a fitting end to the life of such a determined, passionate, and benevolent human being. I truly view my brother as an angel as will all who knew him. Thanks to everyone for all your positive press, Chris went out a happy man and will forever live on as the(one of) greatest of all time. He would have had it no other way."

As for Simon Dean, psycotron i too thought the gimmick was hilarious and the guy is an accomplished wrestler but WWE have already totally misused him and turned him into a glorified jobber, now the way things are going i would normally say their is no hope for him but, with the upcoming WWE presents ECW PPV there is a chance for him to go back to his Nova gimmick...and from their is career could improve....hell it can't get much worse...tagging with Maven poor guy.

I could'nt believe it when i read the news. Even more scary considering he was at tv tapings on Tuesday and is scheduled to accompany The Naturals to the ring on iMPACT today in the USA.

when chavo pushed london and he fell on that ring post and then onto the ground. was that scripted to happen? was he supposed to hit that post rib first or just fall to the ground? even if that ring post was made out of cheese that would have still hurt like hell. londons a exciting wrestler but i dont like his new gimmick with those things on his legs and the jumping around, running into the ring etc. the back flips off the turnbuckles are cool.

I just saw him friday on TNA and my friend had told me the night before he died, so that was fucked up seeing him on TNA.

What did anyone think of Backlash? I thought it was OK, Hogan was great, great to see him back, even if it was for 1 match. I hope HHH Batista is left to rest now, let HHH feud with someone else, although who is there to feud with Batista? Seen as Christian is blatantly off to smackdown.
