is it me or have they squashed Eugene just as fast as they built him up? his novelty is severely wearing thin with me as i find him annoying, of course ive found him annoying since the beginning.

i barely watched last week as i was lookin at my clock wonderin when it was gonna end.

Raw use to be so awesome cause anything could and usually did happen, now it seems badly scripted and just so bland and predictable.

i remember when the world title could change hands on Raw, now a world title match is the least entertaining of the night cause u know its gonna be a bullshit DQ or something and the belt isnt changing hands.

vince needs to fix wrestling and he needs to fix it now!

Well as everyone knows when a Business Has a monopoly of any kind, like vince does, there is no real threat to challenge him, its either you watch his wrestling or you watching nothing.

When WCW and Raw were at their hieghts they were pushing boundaries and pushing each other back and fourth making each come up with new original ideas. I remember when raw was 1 hour and taped, then WCW came along and then they jumped to 2 hours and WWF had to make the jump also to stay competitive. I honestly hope this new TNA its called I believe (the new league Jeff Jarret is trying to build) can get on Fox sports or something nationwide and grow. If we can one day get a challenger to Vince we will be getting new ideas. And I have never been a Bishoff fan and think most of his ideas since back in the wcw days were sorta weak.

I actually watched it, and I must say I didn't think that it was a bad PPV.

The Orton HHH match was pretty good in my opinion, and the Ladder match was great.

I enjoyed it, and I didn't think that I would have.

The only match I turned over through was La who? versus We don't have an angle to work with so we've been thrown together. Bleh.

I havn't watched a PPV since it "all began again", so I can't really compare it with any real PPV's of late...

My opinion therefore becomes defunct.

i bought and am watching my Shawn Micheals boyhood dream dvd with alot of his classic matches, and is it just me or did shawn micheals favor Axl alot when he grew that beard and the way he acted etc etc.

Wonder if that was ever brought up in the meetings? Shawn was a loved wrestler but notorious for being a prick, so i wonder if that was discussed?

They were both short little men with huge ego problems.  I remember him starting out after breaking with the rockers and I always loved him even when people boo'ed him, maybe I secretly did like him because he was subconseously Axl?

I watched wrestling for the first time in about 4 months today - well velocity or whatever the fuck its called - 1 hour is all i can take of this rubbish any more

Anywhere Viscera and Gangrel appeared - i'd assumed both were long dead, its been 5 years atleast!

Ah memories - gangrel and his blood spitting.....

The Undertake v JBL ''match'' was great - the Undertaker can't wrestle to save his life but when he wants to he has that big of magic

I'm voting for 99% of the rooster to be put before a ''firing squad'' match

The gimmick is the bullets are real.

Who?

« Reply #1557 on: September 25, 2004, 09:49:54 AM »

World Wrestling Entertainment is saddened by the loss of Ray Traylor, professionally known as the Big Boss Man. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Inside the wrestling ring, Boss Man was one of the most feared and respected Superstars of his time. Outside the ring, however, Traylor was a kind, gentle, charitable, compassionate family man. While his WWE persona was known for antagonizing others, the real Traylor stopped at nothing to put smiles on the faces of the children he would meet.

Traylor began wrestling in 1984. While serving as a prison guard in Cobb County, Georgia, Traylor caught the attention of a local Atlanta wrestling booker. After months of learning the ropes and paying his dues, Traylor was re-christened Big Bubba Rogers. Not long after, Big Bubba Rogers was in main events all over the country, serving as Jim Cornette?s bodyguard.

A few years later, Traylor traveled to Stamford, Connecticut, to meet with Vince McMahon. Shortly thereafter, the Big Boss Man was created.

As a member of WWE, Big Boss Man rapidly moved up the ranks to main event status. It was as the Boss Man in WWE that Traylor enjoyed his greatest success, facing off against many huge names ? Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage and Andre the Giant.

Ray's spirit and warm nature will never be forgotten.
