WWE has announced that fans in the UK will be able to purchase this months Royal Rumble PPV. Royal Rumble is live on January 25th. The PPV will not air on its usual channel; it will be shown on Sky Digital?s Setanta Sports channel, which is channel 435  ok


The following was taken from thewrestlingchannel.tv:

"The Wrestling Channel will be launching on SKY Digital in the UK, on March 15th 2004. The Wrestling Channel will be bringing you the hottest Pro-Wrestling action from around the globe. Weekly TV shows from Japan, UK and the US indies, as well as some of the most memorable classic wrestling from the 70's, 80's & 90's.

Due to the positive response from the Friendly TV test transmissions during December, further test programming is now likely before the launch"

Im hoping Michaels so he can take the belt into Mania...who knows though, with HHH's power he will probably crush Michaels at Rumble in 2 seconds and kill him.....because he can!

i so hope shawn micheals wins the belt, i think he will and carry it to mania

micheals obviously deserves a title run, the guy  is just amazing

like him or hate it his matches are always unbelievable!

i think hbk taking 4 years off after his surgery allowed him to fully heal whereas guys now are comin back in 6 months and i dont think they are healed properly which is why they get reinjured

HBK new champ its time! i believe Raw two weeks ago was a gauge on fan response to micheals winning the belt, the response was over whelming from the live crowd

i mean not to sound like a total fuckin dweeb but i was off my couch fuckin screamin and shit thinkin he won

i mean it was really fuckin electric and awesome!

Has any one else noticed that in this thread no one ever mentions smackdown any more...its as if it doesn't exist....

Persoanlly smackdown bores me....don't give two hoots about any of the wrestlers there......

no kiddin, ive watched smackdown like once in the last 3 months if that many

if eddie guerrero came back to raw then it would be set, he's the only one i give  a shit about on smackdown

I am going to the Royal Rumble in Philadelphia.  I can't believe Hardcore Holly is getting a title shot.  What a joke.  But HBK vs. HHH in a Last Man Standing and the Rumble itself should be great.  Smackdown! has really sucked lately.

Do any of us watch/care about smackdown any more?

I last watched a episode of smackdown from start to finish about a year ago..and while keeping up on what happened haven't seen any reason to start watching again.

bring sable torrie wilson, rey mysterio,brock lesnar,chris benoit, eddie guerrero,kurt angle and jon cena to raw cut the dead weight from raw add these eliminate smackdown all together or make it like a triple a call up organization

I watched Smackdown today and i won't bother again.........Hardcore Holly vs Big Show as the main event and Hardcore Holly in the Smackdown main event at the Rumble WTF?Huh

I would have to disagree there are far too many main eventers for one roster
