raw seems very unspontaneous with jim ross especially, they need to stop going so overboard like every small thing is the greatest thing in the world and shit. JR. and Lawlers enthusiasm seems forced and not genuine

i fully expected goldberg and hbk vs hhh and orton as the main event, i dont know why hbk wasnt their, of course that is the wwe these days, feuds are just sort of thrown together and the build up sucks

remember 4 or 5 years ago wrestling from top to bottom of the card had an interesting storyline, now they have one or two main storylines and throw together a bunch of filler matches for everyone else, they have missed many opportunities but thats why its going down hill.

of course the brand extension has hurt wrestling, imagine it all lumped together, it would be pretty kick ass now wouldnt it?

u know what i blame the demise of wcw and now the wwe on? they started over doing it, they over exposed themselves

when all we had was monday nitro and raw is war it kicked so much ass, then they add thunder and smackdown and it sped shit up and it just burnt wrestling out

if they had stuck to the 2 hour one show a week format i think both wrestlings would still be big today, they over did it!

Put simply WWE has become WCW too many wrestlers and too many older over the hill talents being pushed

That brand extension killed it for me....i stopped watching it straight afterwards.....i still keep up to date on it but rarely watch it now except the ppv's

the storylines used to be wkd..with great build up now its so boring..but hey i'm off to see it in Brum next month so i will start getting into it again.

Thanks to BlackJack Brown for the following tidbits:

J.R. & Lawler vs Snow & Coach:

The winners of the match will become the new broadcast team on ''Raw.'' I hear Snow and Coach might pull the upset and take over the headsets on a temporary basis. Stone Cold and Eric Bischoff will handle the announcing of the match.

Look for Rikishi to make his return to the WWE in October or November.

Shelton Benjamin will be taking some time off to have arthroscopic knee surgery. Charlie Haas will compete in singles action until Benjamin is ready to return.

Hulk Hogan could be looking to follow Roddy Piper to the NWA TNA promotion. Hogan recently said he had been in negotiations with the Jarrett family and could be looking to debut with the company sometime before the new year.

As you know, the plan is for Goldberg to finally end Triple H's long title reign by winning tonight at Unforgiven. This will allow HHH to take some time off to nurse his injury, marry Stephanie, and due some work for Blade: Trinity.
However, there is some fear with this match. It's no secret that HHH likes to work long matches, and since he is expected to drop the title, he obviously had some say in the match. The main problem is that Goldberg tends to be overexposed in long matches, and the crowd has turned on him in the past. The backstage dilemma for a while is how to book this in a way where Triple H looks credible, yet fans remain interested in Goldberg's title win, giving him the reaction he needs to be a strong champion.

« Reply #192 on: September 22, 2003, 03:53:17 PM »

Ok here is my review of RAW presents Unforgiven:

Dudleys vs La Resistance:

Nice opening surprisingly losts of action and it was great to see new tag champs at last only question looking at RAW's tag division is what new feuds can be made im guessing it will be with Mark Henry and Rodney Mack.......Oh the joy Smiley (please not sarcasm)

Test vs Steiner:

As a match this was quite entertaining only problem was Test won meaning Steiner is his bitch and the feud goes on.........nice finish though Stacy hit Steiner with a steel chair by accident (it was too she did not turn heel)

HBK vs Randy Orton:

Why this was so low down on the card i don't know, ok this match had way too much Flair interference other than that it was good HBK had the match won with SCM but Flair put Orton's foot on the rope ref noticed after the match restarted it Orton got brass knucks off ref and clocked HBK on the sly and got the win therefore HBK was still shown to be better but lost giving the 'rub' to Orton................goddamn i love HBK he should of won rant rant rant

Gail Kim & Molly Holly vs Lita and Trish:

Did not pay much attention in this i think if i remember Lita and Trish won but who cares............sorry if anyone here does..............im sure i missed a classic Grin

Kane vs Shane:

HOLY SHIT this match was way better than i expected losts of cool bumps if anyone had ever seen the match with Vince and Shane at WM X-7 remember the finish with the jump across the ring into vince and the steel chair well Shane did this to Kane with steel steps.........lots of other cool bumps to got to see it to believe it but then at the end Shane jumped off the top of the titantron area that kinda height anyway Kane moved and Shane went through the stage but unlike wat u would expect his body did not disappear (like u expect with mats undernear) the body is just lodged in the wooden stage area with a hole where Shane fell through trust me it looked sick fucking ace....unsurprisingly Shane never got back up and Kane won.....WOOOOOO!!

RVD vs Christian vs Jericho:

Nice fast paced match with Christian making a successful defence with a little help from his belt when RVD went to hit the Five Star Frog Splash.......nice to see the title not flying around

Coach & Al vs JR and The King:

Well the match wasn't much but thanks to Jericho interfering to piss of Austin Coach & Al won and we have new RAW announcers WOOOOOOO!!!!!........would be even better if i believed it was permanent but we all know it won't be a lard ass JR and puppy obsessed King will be back soon...................damn!!!!!!!!!

Goldberg vs HHH:

This match was pretty boring IMO it felt like it dragged on for ever don't know how long it was.............probably quite short who knows...........well Goldberg won.............all i can say is damn!!! he sucks major ass

Hope you all enjoyed my review and as Tony Schivone would say........i'm just about outta time

cool chinese u will like the site, lots of news etc.

raw was awesome tonight jericho is gettin ready to face goldberg as i type this but so far the show has been great, the opening segment was a little weird, austin comin out and stuff, its pretty clear that goldberg cant carry a show, which makes me wonder why he is champ, their are only 5 wrestlers right now on raw who can carry the show, the rock, who of course is gone to hollywood, stone cold who of course isnt wrestling, triple h who is takin time off, jericho, and hbk, so i truly think jericho should be champ and not just cause he is my fav wrestler.

rvd vs christian was a great match, i cant wait till the ladder match

the womens match was good for what it was worth, i usually turn to monday night football during the women's match, i caught the end, it was ok

evolution vs jindrax, maven and gage/cage? was cool, i dont remember many of the matches for some reason, oh yeah the hurricane rosey tag match was ok, i turned it during tommy dreamer vs mark henry

i totally love coach and al snow as announcers to bad they will lose the announcing duties next week, am i the only one who think they are 100 times better than jr and lawler? never thought id say that but they are,

the kane shane o mac hospital segment was cool so was the steiner test backstage bit the scsa, jericho, christian bit was funny the clb thing was cool

well im off to watch the main event, no way jericho will win but i can tell u before watchin the match, jericho was awesome goldberg was his normal skilless self, so till next week!

Yeah no offense to those fans who like Triple H, but he really did have the title for a long time. Undecided I mean back in September of 2002 He was "Handed" the Title. rant He did not even earn it and he lost it 1 time to Shawn Michaels who did not even pin him to win it and lost it right back to Triple H like 2 weeks later. Angry Finally he lost it and its about time. yes Wrestling really was getting crappy because of him. Tongue I'm glad his title reign is over.. ok peace

HHH's long title reign gave the World Title some much needed value and meaning rather than just a title passed around on a monthly basis and i mean who was he to drop it to Booker T or RVD seriously overated guys IMO, i mean on RAW the only ones worthy are HBK (who can only wrestle part time) and Jericho.  I say well done to HHH and as for Goldberg well i hope is reign is short maybe Jericho could end it but i suspect it will be Kane (who is at the bst he has ever been) or HHH upon his return from filming scenes for Blade 3 and marrying Steph
