he seems a bit shaky in the ring, like he is inexperienced...
It's Christopher Daniels aka Curry Man under the mask/costume.

Didnt know that

I'm impressed TNA took this element of the game and brought it to life (or was it vice versa?) and that despite an injury they have found a way to keep it going. I briefly played the TNA game but with exams had to put the Xbox on hold untill now - i would have liked to see how it played out

WWE News: Vince McMahon calls TNA programming "reprehensible," defends Triple H home invasion storyline

WWE chairman Vince McMahon says TNA's TV programming is "reprehensible." McMahon also says he doesn't view TNA as competition because their ratings aren't close to WWE's.

"I think some of the things they do on television are reprehensible, but it is a TV-14 rating. That's the only bone I have to pick with them," McMahon told the Hollywood Reporter. "Their TV ratings are a fraction of ours."

McMahon called on TNA to adjust their TV programming to a PG rating, which is the policy WWE has adopted.

"My concern with TNA is not in terms of competition," McMahon said. "My concern with TNA is that they are TV-14, and we are PG. They have to change with the times."

The Hollywood Reporter's Georg Szalai then asked a solid follow-up question on WWE recently featuring a home invasion with Triple H and how that differs from TNA's programming. McMahon offered a peculiar response.

"What we try to do in situations like that is use things that you can't find around the house. You will never see us use a baseball bat," McMahon said. "You don't find folding metal chairs around the house."

McMahon said WWE is "very selective" in picking out weapons and incorporating outside-the-ring elements into storylines. He says they want the audience to care about the welfare of the characters without crossing the line of good taste.

"You can go up to the line. It's storytelling; that's how our business thrives," McMahon said. "If you have well-defined characters and put them in the right story line against other characters, people care about their welfare."

This is from the same man once done a storyline where he prostituted his daughter as a child...

Where a naked Triple H humped a manikin doll on live TV..

Where a naked Lita and Edge took part in a simulated sex session in the ring.

Where John Heidenreich raped Micheal Cole.

Where they allowed an 80 year old + woman to go topless on PPV.

ect....  rofl

When you say stuff like that, after pics of Mae Young, I get VERY scared.

Glad the youtube vid wasn't what I thought it would be.  Smiley

Oh Vince, you old fool - telling TNA to get with the times, perhaps TNA should draw its logo in crayon too?

Bet Jeff Jarrett was buying rounds for everyone in the building when he read that

What a vote of confidence in TNA - you cant buy that publicity!

A handcuffed Triple H is beaten half to death with a sledgehammer and its TNA thats crossed the line?

This is a show about people beating each other into submission for no other reason than to win a match and Vince claims he's being responsible?!

Loved the bit about using weapons that werent readily available - because NO ONE can get hold of a sledgehammer

To be fair, they never used it on a person. It was merely some light-hearted property-destroying. Tongue

"Survivor Series '01" Stone Cold uses a forklift to drop and destroy Triple H's car with Triple H inside.

That is why that era got higher ratings..

Nah I'd say more 14+. I was in high School at that time and everybody and their mother was watching wrestling. I went to and hosted a number of huge wrestling parties back than. For ECW, for Raw's and Nitro's. Nitros were great back than cuz they replayed it an hour after raw. So you could watch raw. And than an hour later watch Nitro. That was fantastic.

During the late 90's I really enjoyed WCW more than the WWE. I liked the WWE but that whole NWO angle had me sold for a long time. The cruiserwieghts were awesome back than. Sting was awesome too. Than came Goldberg at just the right time. And boy was I sold on him for awhile. I will never forget chanting Gold-berg at home with 20-40 other people watching Nitro. And at live events with thousands of other fans.  3-hour nitros were kool live, hell for awhile they were just kool period. I will also always remember how bad ass we all thought it was when Goldberg gave The Giant (big show) the Jack-Hammer.  hihi Into 1999 WCW really started going down hill and WWE was definitely becoming more entertaining. But I will never foget Nitro and WCW from '96 maybe '97 to the end of 98. It was grade A entertainment.  smoking
