I have to say if Morrison & Miz are not on WM i'd be pissed. They have been worked hard all year and in my mind been excellent for most if not all of that period.

Nah don't worry all things are pointing towards Miz N' Morrison vs The Colons winner takes all match, which should be good cause they have very good chemistry.

Wouldn't surprise me if they added Priceless and Kendrick/Zeke into the mix, they need something to do, and Priceless are wasted as mere lackeys, if they became undisputed Champions it would help Legacy, despite the announced "Draft", the possibility of merging belts is there, with this feud and Divas Champ Maryse taking out Women's Champion Melina.

Mania was never really about the matches - hell, you might get one great match but thats your lot

Lets face it - its been a glorified RAW for years - its far more about the presentation and pagentry than the wrestling

I strongly disagree, but thats just my opinion.

I'm sort of in the middle on this, these days, 'Mania is superb, they put plenty of thought into it, beyond one or two matches. 

Look at the cards through 1-7, they just had the, lets get the whole roster on mentality.

Take Wrestlemania 3.  You had one good match, based on wrestling, Savage vs Steamboat and then one based on the big time feel/build-up Hogan vs Andre. 

The rest of the card was, the pits.  On a 12 match card, only 2 matches went over 9 minutes, many matches were pure filler, but the "Big time" feel made it.

It wasn't until the turn of 2000 that 'Mania cards seemed to have thought from top to bottom.  Take Wrestlemania X-7 the top rated 'Mania, for top to bottom match quality.

Classic Attitude Era Hardcore Action with Raven, Big Show and Kane.  The classic combination of that Canadian Wrestler and Kurt Angle.  The always watchable Shane vs Vince.  Another chapter in the TLC classics.  Undertaker and The Game and finishing with The Rock vs Steve Austin, in my favourite of their encounters with the Austin heel turn.

But yeah, back to the original point, one or two matches per show aside, for the first 12-13 Wrestlemanias I think its quite applicable.

Although in defence of the early events, the tv matches were much worse.  Take RAW 1993, most matches are Established Wrestler vs Scrub.

My wrestlemania with current roster and legend/suprize possibilities. Of course one of my matches is impossible but a man can dream. I'll even take current storylines and matches under consideration when deciding on my Wrestlemania 25:

MITB: Kennedy FTW! & Rey, Kofi, Shelton Benjamin, MVP, Christian, and bring back RVD for a surprize appearence. Would be nice to see him again. And he does good spots.

IC Belt: CM Punk vs. William Regal----I actually enjoyed the program they were working and think it could have ended quite well in a match at wrestlemania.

Ultimate Endurance Match (come on bout time they bring something cool from ROH) For the unified Tag Team Titles---Morrison/Miz vs. Cryme Time vs. The Colons vs. Priceless. You can start with Falls Count Anywhere. Throw a swerve and do a Tag Team Submission match. Than end with a Tornado Tag Team Tables Match.

Chris Jericho vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin---This is the one that won't happen. But with all the legends hes taking out it would make sense for Stone Cold to come back to take out Jericho. Rumor has it their negotiating with Hulk Hogan for an appearence...but against someone else. Though they now say negotiations broke down. Wouldn't mind Hogan vs. Jericho-----To end this storyline it would only make sense with Jericho facing a legend.

HHH vs. Orton for the WWE Championship----Yawn. but I said I would try to stay with storylines.


Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker---Mr. Wrestlemania vs. Undefeated Streak---whoever doesnt want to see these guys go at it is a fucking idiot. This has classic written all over it.

Edge vs. John Cena for the World Heavywieght Championship----I am not a fan of Cena but I am a huge fan of Edge(the best heel in the industry today). Please dont make the big show part of this. It should be one on one. Edge vs. Cena. EDGE FTW!!!


No ECW match, cuz for me there aint no ECW. Please put Christian on a real show. 

Wresltemania 25. Its the 25th Anniversary and it deserves to be special. Tag Team belts and the ic belt deserve to be defended and I think i picked what could be a decent IC Belt Match at worst and a pretty kool Tag Team Match. Bringing back stone cold to face jericho would be amazing, hell even hogan vs. jericho would be kool. I know Hogan is past his prime but its Hogan and for nostalgic purposes alone it would be kool to see. Having a MITB match with some kool high flyers like kofi, rey, RVD, Shelton would be awesome. Throw in a classic Taker vs. HBK match and closing it out with Edge vs. Cena would just make sense.

After 25 years the young talent or percieved young talent should close the show. I don't like Cena's style or character he plays but I do admire his willingless to live and breathe the WWE. Paul Heyman wrote a great article about Cena with regards to the guys work ethic and just flat out devotion to everything that is the WWE. If what he said was true, I have to at least admit Cena deserves to close Wrestlemania 25. He is the future whether I like it or not. Besides he'd be facing Edge...who I just absolutely love right now.

But we all know Trips will close the show in what will most definetly not be the match of the night.

Only difference is, use to Stephanie would COST HHH the match, Stephanie being 2nd generation would join the legacy and they'd take over SD or Raw or whatever the fuck they wanted.  *Dont wanna hear rehash cause it still would kick ass*

IMO that should be Mania. Have a Pre-Mania Battle Royal with the Winner being able to choose their brand in the Draft featuring all the big guys so they are not on Mania.

I just think that anyone else in the title matches is only there for fodder i.e. if Show is in with Cena and Edge. Edge will end up pinning Show to retain.

I'm also hoping that Matt Hardy gets the win over Jeff at Mania as i think that could be the beginning of an awesome feud.
