A true Legend.

8.    Randy Savage - 520
9.    Triple H - 440+

Indeed. Case in point, Brock Lesnar has combined been WWE Champion longer with 3 reigns to The Rock's 7.

Looking at the World Tag Team Title stats throws up more interesting results.

1.    Mr. Fuji - 931
2.    Billy Gunn - 917
3.    Ax - 698
-      Smash - 698
5.    Tony Garea - 627
6.    Johnny Valiant - 600
7.    Professor Tanaka - 568
8.    Mike Rotundo/I.R.S. - 548
9.    The British Bulldog - 539
10.  Owen Hart - 485

Other anomalies include Cody Rhodes has been a Champion longer than both Dudley Boyz have and Cade and Murdoch have been on top longer than Edge and Christian.

Choking with the hands or using the ropes to choke will be a DQ instead of a 5 count, if seen by the ref, and just added to the growing list are eye poke or rakes and throwing someone into the ringposts outside the ring. Both now will lead to a DQ too

Is this the Chris Beniot Rule?

I know thats tasteless, but it is oke for JBL to hang Jericho with an extention cord right?

Anyone else really want Christian back in WWE so they can equal the Dudleyz record of 8 tag titles and then expload into a feud with the hardys again.

I'd love Christian back.

A feud between him and Jericho would be far more interesting than this Batista/Jericho feud, or the no doubt impending Orton/Jericho feud.

I'd love Christian back.

A feud between him and Jericho would be far more interesting than this Batista/Jericho feud, or the no doubt impending Orton/Jericho feud.

Imagine if you will this scenario.

Edge comes back and beat HHH for the World Title at RR with a Christian run-in. Matt Hardy keeps his ECW title... Jeff Hardy wins the Royal Rumble and chooses Edge. At No Way Out Edge defends against Undertaker, again with help from Christian. After the match they give Undertaker the Con-Chair-To, which prompts Jeff Hardy to run in for the save. But E&C start beating him up too.... Matt Hardy runs down with a Chair and clears the ring.

The following Friday on SD its announced that Taker is out until Mania (although he will appear in mind-games promos) where he will fight HHH. E&C come gloating that they put Taker on the shelf and the "Best Team Wrestling Has Ever Seen" Is Back and to prove it they will take on the tag champions and when they win they will become 8-time tag champs and equal the record. Obviously they beat Carlito & Primo and win the Tag Titles, but after the match they continue their attack, which prompts Jeff & Matt to run down with a Ladder with Jeff Swanton-ing from the ladder on Edge and Matt giving Christian a legdrop off the ladder.

The following week a tag match is made for the Tag titles between Hardys and E&C with the Hardys winning after the lights go out in the arena (Takers revenge on E&C). After the match E&C beat down the Hardys putting both through Tables. At this point SD GM comes down and says that this fighting has gone too far and at Wrestlemania it will be Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy vs Edge & Christian for the WWE Title, ECW Title & Tag Titles all in a TLC Match, but the catch is that from now to Wrestlemania if either lay their hands on the other they would be stripped of their titles and suspended from WWE. At this point E&C put the chairs down (About to give Jeff the Con-Chair-To) and walk out.

Over the next two weeks through hype videos and E&C interviews we see clips of old matches and E&C saying that they have always been the bigger team. They list their titles (Hopefully Christians TNA one too) and say they have gone on to be "Real" World Champions and the best Matt can do is the ECW title and the best Jeff has managed is the US Title.

It would all lead to a classic Wrestlemania moment!

-------

I know there is the MITB match and i know some will say Wrestlemania main events shouldn't be gimmick matches but if i was in charge this would be too good to refuse for me with all the History these teams had. and if you didn't want to do it at Mania then another PPV, but it would be AWESOME

I was kinda liking Big Show's promo on SD this week, until he said "WWE Universe". That destroys any credibility a monster heel has. In fact, any heel who says it sounds like they're being forced to say it. Quit it!

Regarding Cyber Sunday:

- This really should be Batista's last shot at a world title for a long time. It almost feels like he loses a title match, then wins a #1 Contender's Match shortly after. He needs to be heel dammit.

- Hopefully Kane and Mysterio get a Falls Count Anywhere Match. That could be an entertaining match if done right.

- Festus needs to be voted into the US Title match. I have no idea why he's an option to be in that match (I don't recall the recent feud between Benjamin and Festus...) but it has to happen!

According to a colleague of Scott Hall, the former WWE and WCW superstar attempted to commit suicide either Friday or Saturday.

Details are sketchy, but it is believed that Hall is in a hospital near his home. The source indiciated that pills may have been involved. Hall turned 50 years old last week.

I came across a league for the amount of World Title reigns wrestlers on the current active WWE roster have.

1. Triple H - 12 (WWE Champion seven times and WWE World Heavyweight Champion five times)

2. The Undertaker - 6 (WWE Champion four times and WWE World Heavyweight Champion two times)

3. The Big Show - 5 (WCW Champion two times, WWE Champion two times and ECW Champion)
-   Edge - 5 (WWE Champion two times and WWE World Heavyweight Champion three times)

4. Shawn Michaels - 4 (WWE Champion three times and WWE World Heavyweight Champion one time)
-   Chris Jericho - 4 (WCW Champion one time, WWE World Champion one time, WWE Undisputed Champion one time and WWE World Heavyweight Champion one time)
-   Batista - 4 (WWE World Heavyweight Champion four times)

5. John Cena - 3 (WWE Champion three times)
-   Randy Orton - 3 (WWE World Heavyweight Champion one time and WWE Champion two times)

6. Vince McMahon - 2 (WWE Champion one time and ECW Champion)
-  Kane - 2 (WWE Champion one time and ECW Champion one time)
-  CM Punk - 2 (ECW Champion and WWE World Heavyweight Champion one time)

7. Tommy Dreamer - 1 (ECW Champion one time)
-   John Bradshaw Layfield - 1 (WWE Champion one time)
-   Rey Mysterio - 1 (WWE World Heavyweight Champion one time)
-   The Great Khali - 1 (WWE World Heavyweight Champion one time)
-   John Morrison - 1 (ECW Champion one time)
-   Chavo Guerrero - 1 (ECW Champion one time)
-   Mark Henry - 1 (ECW Champion one time)
-   Matt Hardy - 1 (ECW Champion one time)

Agreed, a 15-20 PPV match along the line would be awesome between them although it won't happen

Bourne's definately the star of the current little man intiative by WWE, his match at Cyber Sunday was even better, the false finishes in that were very good and Grisham and Striker did a great job commentating, he has really got over with the fans, heck it's not often in a Mysterio or Hardy match you hear the fans cheering for their opponent sans the MSG Crowd in January who despised Rey.

By the little man intiative I mean the pushes going to other "Cruiserweight" dudes, such as The Brian Kendrick who has a fantastic character now and Jamie Noble who although not being pushed to the moon, has had some great stuff with William Regal.

Speaking of Cruiserweights, throughout his entire tenure, I think a certain injured stars current role is his best, I'm just sayin'.

TNA in HD

Ironic that their first live HD broadcast brought out so many failings in such clarity!!!

The absurd tag match - what the hell was going on?? People say TNA has bizarre stipulations - i think that proved it

...was every match supposed to run for 30 seconds?

And i have lost touch of how many times they have had ''announcements that will change wrestling''

I keep hoping WWE will hijack the broadcast just long enough to add a tumbleweed every time that phrase is used hihi

'Main event Mafia'? Why not just call them 'The Kings of Camp' - i'm struggling to think of a mere cringe inducing stable name....

...and can Sting and Kevin Nash physically wrestle any more?

u actually want to see Rey wrestle???

I dont have a problem with him but the booking - ye gods, i reckon i could get a three count out of him and yet he beats Kane and the like?!

Just absurd - he should stick to cruiserweight matches

I'm not a huge fan of Rey by any stretch of the imagination, but that match between him and Evan Bourne was easily one of the best matches I've seen in a very, very long time.

I therefore think an Iron Man match, or even a 2 out of 3 pin falls match between them would be superb at 'Mania.
