He had a singles match with JBL where he won cleanly. Personally, I really thought Punk did a great job as champion.

I have read that they want Punk to fued with Orton when Orton comes back. They also plan to have him get the title back in the future. Hopefully that pans out.

 I liked him as champion and I am pissed that he lost it because fuckin Orton's stupid kick shit. Which is fucking retarded. I like Orton but that kick needs togo. CM Punk gets kicked in the head and can't make it but Jericho gets the hell beat out of him only to be there for the final match. Bull-shit! But, it was a way for Punk to drop the title without taking anything away from him. So I complain but am happy Punk didnt get cleanly beaten. Hopfully what they have planned for Punk right now works out because I am really liking CM Punk. 

So Jericho is champion. Was this a way for them to take the best fued this summer one step further? I didn't watch Raw but suspect HBK to be gunning for Jericho and with him being champion I believe a HBK/Y2J title match would be the next logical step in this fantastic fued. Hopefully I get my wish.

More news of HHH being a bitch. Not that nobody knows about him, I just find the last little bit interesting and can't believe how much that would suck, if it were to happen....I hate being sick cuz than i have to stay home and end up reading all this crap. 

Details on Triple H's Backstage Heat and How Undertaker is Involved

Since returning to the SmackDown brand, there is some major heat on the WWE Champion Triple H, mainly for him going out of his way to make the younger talents look bad on camera, especially guys like MVP and Shelton Benjamin. A lot of the guys backstage were upset about Triple H's recent promo and have went to The Undertaker for a resolution, of sorts. The Undertaker agrees with the younger talents and says he understands how they feel.

The belief is that a backstage showdown is coming between The Undertaker and Triple H, due to the way the WWE Champion treats people in the locker room. Many people think that Triple H would get his way in the end but the one person that Vince McMahon respects and trusts the most above others is The Undertaker. Triple H wouldn't lose his job obviously but some kind of changes would have to be made.

The Undertaker sees SmackDown as his brand and the Superstars as his boys, in a way. If he isn't backed by McMahon when the time comes, there's a feeling that he could take more time off for injuries as a way to show his displeasure. There's already a thought among some close to the situation that Triple H wants payback for his loss at WrestleMania 17 and is pushing for himself to face The Undertaker at WrestleMania 25 with the streak being broken.

Ladder + Jericho + HBK = Winner!

We now have a card with 2 really excellent matches (Hardy/Trips should pull it out the bag...)

and 2 potentially awful ones....JBL, Batista, Candice Michelle    and although Beth is normally reliable, she's been ropey in the ring the past few weeks, the match she had with Mickie James the other week was an unexpected mess.

The Colons looked good last week on Smackdown, it'd be nice if the show could graduate past having a mere 3 tag teams though, I just want something to prompt Vince to go, gee...tag team wrestlings darn good, let's put some focus on it.

The #1 Contender Main Event was entertaining fair to....The Brian Kendrick continues to shine.
