Steve Austin is being sued by Tracy Von Vechery for $1,000,000. It appears that a movie partnership was broken between Vechery and Austin/TAG Entertainment. TMZ reported "Wrestling legend is getting sued over a financial deal which is more complicated than anything we've ever seen."

I wonder how well Austin has invested his earnings....This could be good news for wrestling fans....we may see an Austin return to the ring afterall.

His Knees are terrible I thought, I thought they were bad when he was still wrestling. If he ever did come back to WWE I couldnt see him in a wrestling role, unless it was a one time off at WM.

Yeah, thats what I meant. He said in an interivew/podcast with The Sun Newspaper a few months ago, that physically he is 100% and has a few more great matches left in him. When asked if he would ever come back he said "if  the stars were to allign and the situation was right" he would come back for a match.

What made it worse was you actually saw the crash mat in the background when the pinfall was occuring, it looked so bad.

Kudos to the Women top match, seriously the division is fairly decent when they let the solid workers go.  The division only tends to stink in the months leading up to Wrestlemania when the Playboy Diva who can't wrestle get's a big push (Look at the last few years, Maria, Ashley, Christyno

TLC Match was great to, so good as Izzy said you can overlook certain things, such as awfully obvious set ups for big bumps.  Edge moving the tables in place and the climbing the ladder, why waste the time?  Or the final part of the match when Undertaker moved the Ladder further away from the Belt and closer to the ropes so he'd be able to hit the tables if by chance someone pushed his Ladder over, seriously though, top match.

it was pretty full, they use the seat fillers to sit in areas where the camera is pointing this way on tv the show looks full and make it look like no one ever leaves there seat. but since just about ever seat was filled i wasnt asked to fill an empty seat while they person got back from where ever he went.

This thread is rather quiet...

anyway - anyone get the impression that with WWE it becomes less and less about wrestling as the weeks progress? I keep expectin Raw to come on and their not to be a single match

..what matches we do get seem to have a ''oh do we have to do this?'' feel to then

..and this money give away - yey gods! Buying publicity has never been so blatant or literal (so you cant win if your in the arena...bizarre...)

When McMahon was handing out cash i swear I have never wanted to hear the Stone Cold entrance more! - the whole absurdity would have been perfect for Austin to storm out, hit a stunner and swagger off

hell even a 'DAMN!' would probably sum up my apathy for the proceedings

Yeah, I mean seriously, a week without a post, that most be like a record for this thread.  I was just about to start a Mike Knox's Beard Appreciation Post to get things rolling again, but now you have posted there is no need, although, it is impressive....seriously. Cheesy

I KNOW you don't really care for the guys on the shows, but for wrestling in the company, ECW & Smackdown are better options.  Both the opening Tag Match and Tag Title bout were decent on this weeks ECW.  Incidently, the new addition Evan Bourne (Matt Sydal) is damn good in the ring, but why make him a face, after that little interview they should prior to this weeks match, he has face potential up there with Santino Marella and Rocky Maivia, all that, I've wrestled all over the place and I'm thrilled to be here and look I'm a nice guy crap, what a waste, he has great talent as a Heel which sadly is not going to get utilised until creative notice that he ain't getting over, although his in ring credentials could swing it for him, for the time being at least, something the other 2 guys mentioned could not rely on.

And since you have to be from the US, is he trying to turn off International viewers.  It's so lazy and in many ways cheap (Yes giving away all this money seems like it), rather than thinking up some good storylines/angles to bring in viewers it's easier to lure them in with a lottery of sorts which is not related to the product.  Remember the last company to have things they thought fans would like despite not being product related, like paying bands ridiculous amounts of money to play on "Nitro".  It's just as stupid as past stuff like Hot Lesbian Action or whatever it was.  I mean seriously.  People want to win money they play the lottery, if they want to watch Porn they go on the web or subscribe to some seedy channel, if they want to see their fave bands they go to see them or watch music channels.  People watch wrestling for wrestling complete with fun storylines and interviews/vignettes intertwined that link it all together.  To think the time they wasted on RAW with that crap, rather than making fun of Haas they could of given him a 15-20 minute match to show the fans the talents he has because he IS a great in ring competitor!

Well we did get one in response to the poor treatment of Charlie Haas.  I did in many ways find the segments amusing purely because Vince who rates himself and rightfully so was completely screwing up and the look on his face when he got Rick Rolled........Twice!  He just didn't get it, it must be true what they say about him not living in the real world, last time they suggested it was when he did not understand Paul Burchill's Pirate Gimmick on Smackdown he was expecting Jean Pierre Lafiette Version 2.0 and had no idea who Captain Jack Sparrow was/is.

Edit: And since it never got posted, in the random weird news of the month, the latest to fail the wellness test is.....Batista......Jimmy Wang Yang (Yes Jim he's on YOUR team)

The audience were clearly yelling 'boring' on Raw and McMahon was oblivious - he is definetly on another planet, surely no one likes this absurd money give away - and yet he doesn't see it

RAW has all the hallmarks of a show on the rocks and creatively bankrupt - Vinne Mac needs to retire

Think about it you bought a ticket to WRESTLING... and Vince is spending what about 20 minutes or so of the show trying to figure out how to use a phone. Its like watching a gorilla trying to figure out how his finger smells like crap after scratching his own ass. Wrestling Fans want Money, but you are not going to get your 3.0 rating up to a 4.0 by giving out a million bucks. If you want 4.0 ratings you have to give 4.0 ratings product. Maybe even have his ECW or create another brand for COmpetition on MOnday nights, where its so exciting you have to flip back and forth. Hell even with the brand splits wrestlers still can wrestle on 3 shows a week.

Wake up Vince, if you want better ratings sell a better product.

Or take those millions and start your own MMA league like SOn Shane wants to bad.

I gave up on Smackdown about 6 months ago, and i've never bothered with ECW

I just fast forward the matches on Raw because they are so poor - can get through Raw in about 15 mins!

I watch TNA religiously though - the matches are just so fantastic, hell even women's matches are watchable
