He's in with a good chance. He has many major league players backstage supporting him, and he's high up in the food chain himself only behind Taker, HHH, HBK. He's one of the only wrestlers that is able to fly on the McMahon Corporate jet, so I wouldn't be suprised if he did win.


On another note, does anyone else find it hilarious that the WWE still continues to purposely humiliate Coach on air in WWE Programming.

MVP said a few weeks back "When Michael was with JBL a while back they were voted the 6th best announce team of all time. Then when you (coach) came along suddenly you are voted the worst annouce team of all time."

Then this week on Smackdown when Morrison was on commentary; Morrison said: "Fortunately for you coach you are now not the worst announcer in WWE history....that title belongs to Mike Adamle."

And later on in same show when discussing how Edge got to were he is by sleeping with the GM, Cole said: "Well you didn't get here because of your announcing skills, I can tell you that!"


 

Oh, and word is they're, looking for Foley to replace Coach.....already.

Well he has wrestled at multiple 'Mania's.

And the fact that he still has a job after all these years implies he has power along with the fact that he got away with beating the crap out of Rene Dupree and that Tough Enough kid.  And he's had so many renewed pushes over the years and even attempts to see if he can go in the Main Event.

Yeah Khali was a last resort, but you'd need half the roster to vanish for him to get the RAW Belt.  Randy Orton needs the belt as the top line heel, even JBL with his backstage clout would not be able to convince them why he would be good with the belt....

SOMEONE AS TO PICK JBL, WWE likes to shock people. With Orton retaining at WM "against all odds" and beat HHH and Cena, Why not shock the world and Have Cena or HHH knock out Orton and Eliminate them only to stand up to a CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL. I think it would be the BEST thing for the WWE title. We all know he would never have a RAW run with the title as long as he did on SD.  But If He wins it here, It would be nice to see a Different Heal in the Main Event at GAB defending the title.  (WHERE IF HE WAS TO WIN HE WOULD LOOSE IT BY THEN OR THAT NIGHT)

Hell then with JBL as Champion maybe Jericho could move back into the main event picture and continue his fued for the WWE title. --wishful thinking--.

Regardless there will be a NEW WWE champion tonight.

Batista looked to have crapped himself on the spot when HBK went down after that attempted Batista Bomb. Apparently Jericho threw up the "X" sign aswell although it was not shown on air. Even with the bad knees that he has, HBK (and Batista) pulled out a classic performance. Match of the night imo.

Oh, and Matt Hardy vs MVP was really exciting too!

Finally, Matt Hardy is US Champion! Lets hope he gets a good run with it and he actually defends it once in a while!

I think he is full time now, because when Cole introduced him he said "The new colour commentator for the Smackdown brand...."

So hopefully yeah...
