Damn, that sucks.  My childhood just took a rake to the eyes.  RIP.

My favorite Piper moment was when the then-called WWF was presenting Cyndi Lauper a lifetime achievement award for her music (that part alone is hilarious).  The ceremony was MC'd by Dick Clark.  She was accompanied by Capt Lou Albano, who she had been feuding with, but now were allies, along with her music manager.  Piper interrupts the ceremony and proceeds to crush Capt Lou over the head with the framed record/award, kicks Lauper in the face and then full-out powerslams Lauper's 130-pound manager.  Great stuff.

It was cool seeing AJ but Triple H winning the Rumble sucked hard. I don't mind that he's still around and interjecting himself all over the place but it does bother me that he's winning the Rumble and WWE Champion in 2016. Its bad.

It won't happen this year (lets be real it won't ever happen), but my dream main event of Wrestlemania with Dolph Ziggler vs. Daniel Bryan closing out the show is technically still alive as both guys are still with the company.

My dream is officially over. Daniel Bryan retired due to concussions. Sucks, but I hope he's ok going forward. I loved the guy and his wrestlemania run is something I will never forget as it was amazing. I loved how the crowds from week to week were shouting for him, booing the status quo, and showing how disconnected WWE is with the fans. I see how Triple H bitches about internet fans and I don't get why he doesn't understand that is most of the fans today. They encouraged everyone to go online and the majority follow twitter, other social networking, are now more vocal about the product and we have seen a resurgence of sorts over the last 3-5 years of many different places(IGN, Grantland when it was up, Bleacher Report, countless others) having wrap up articles for Raw, PPV reports and reviews, all kinds of stuff where everyone congregates and bitches about the product. NXT is watched by the hardcore IWC community, so are the pod casts, the countless "news" sites for backstage stuff. The normal fan is starting to bleed into that and see that with the booing of guys like Reigns and the love for guys like Ambrose and Owens. Its strange to see how WWE still insists on the big giant physical guy when the crowd over the last several years mostly embraced the smaller guys or not Steroid freaks(Punk, Bryan, Ziggler for a time, Owens, Bray Wyatt, Rollins, and others). Bryan was a prime example of that.

Plus it felt like the crowds hadn't popped like that since the Heyday. It was electrifying.

I probably said it earlier in the thread but if you have ever been a fan of wrestling you need to take in a Wrestlemania weekend, it's so much fun being there with fans from all over the place

That was insane and the most unexpected thing i've seen on WWE in a loooong time.....Always loved Shane, his energy is great, crowd popped so hard for him and you could tell it meant alot. This is quite the storyline, no idea where its going. Taker vs Shane at Wrestlemania is so random, both of them going in as faces, Cant wait to see what they do

I havent seen any of them in awhile to be honest...Mania dosent look amazing on paper but I think it will impress, Waiting for a roman heel turn, to see Rock's influence and shane/Taker and the divas
