I seem to remember 21 being pretty good. The Angle HBK match alone made it worthwhile.

Izzy you totally described the glory years for me there. I loved that Kane Jericho feud (when Kane was still awesome), and the Kane Undertaker vs HHH Austin feud a bit later. An intercontinental title scene with Angle, Jericho and Benoit, the Hardys vs Dudleys vs E&C and the first TLC match, Austins return from the hit and run etc.... good times.

Yeah, 21 came really close to the awesomeness of 20.

HHH vs. Batista and John Cena vs. JBL at WM 21 kind of suck compared to HHH vs. Chris Benoit vs. HBK, or Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle at WM 20 though.

I think Shawn Michaels vs John Cena from Wrestlemania 23 is one of the greatest wrestling matches of recent times.

Goldberg and Brock would have been more of a disaster if it had been the Main Event, bit it was middle of the card and there was plenty of good stuff to distract from it.  The 2 World Title matches, the superb next chapter in the Jericho/Christian feud and the return of The Rock and Undertaker as his Dead Man persona.  It was a let down from the point of view, people expected a hard hitting match, full of power moves and drama, but looking back it's still hilarious to watch a match where the fans are behind the referee, WWE didn't lose out on than one really, they knews the guys were going from the company anyway.

Speaking of disaster matches, people often forget that HBK vs Bret Hart, screwjob ending aside was a damn fine match.

As for disaster matches, there is one ultimate match, one that is untouchable. Two words: Jackie Gayda: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ON3fxYOAKjI Honestly if you have never seen it you need to!!  Outside of WWE, one that comes to mind is Hogan trying to throw flames in Warrior's face but messing up and doing it to himself  hihi

And talking of stupid things to feud over, didn't Booker T and Edge have a 'Mania match over a Shampoo Commercial?

On the subject of the Angle/Triple H/Steph storyline, that stuff was superb!  Probably my favourite storyline back in the day, unfortunately it never really reached a decent conclusion.  The dirt sheets point to Triple H pushing to nix it because he didn't like where it was going (Angle hooking up with Steph....).  I also seem to have a memory imprinted of Triple H showing Trish Stratus some...."wrestling holds".  Cheesy

Anyone see jericho/Batista horrendously fuck up that cage spot?

He came so close to falling out and had to catch himself and pull himself back onto the apron........ Batista was slow getting up.

I wonder what the WWE plans to do with Mike Adamle now then?

I thought they were planning to make him a wrestler? I was actually expecting him to face Orton this week on Raw.

Nah my stoner years were costly  hihi

Most times WWE was over here I noticed AFTER tickets had been sold or plain couldn't afford them.  This was another such case haha, my sis got them in April  Cheesy

^ That's the only layout picture I could get of M.E.N, my sis said it was section C, and it's like the second block down on the rightside so it looks to be right in line and a decent view like!

Yeah that would be sweet.

I'm uber pumped, first live event and it's a proper taping and I have floor seats, and it's my day off Uni so I get to spend the whole day in Manchester anyway, good thing my sister is a wrestling fan haha, she organised this, all my friends (mma fans) are of the notion wrestlings "gay"  Grin

I'm hoping D'Lo Brown gets a look in and, since they are sharing talent, well, you know who I'm going to say....

WWE is awesome live

Got to see it a few years back - I believe the main event was Undertaker v Brock Lesner

...had a heel John Cena slagging off Birmingham - lol, us Brits are so negative about our country anyway I think the crowd agreed with him more than booed!

It is so much more intense - seriously, a clothesline looks like the most awesome move live!
