Do u think Axl was a fan of that band and that`s why he wore the t-shirt??? I don`t think that.. If that is true, why he had a picture with Jesus on the t-shirt???

Kill Your Idols actually has deeper meaning if you really think about it.  He's basically telling you not to worship ANYBODY or ANYTHING.  Nothing is perfect, and we should find perfection in all of the imperfection that surrounds us.  So much goes wrong when we blindly follow those we think at the time are great.

Oh well, that's always been my take on it.

And as cool and legendary as Axl is, he really is the prime example that noone is perfect, he went through his share of drama and we all know about it. So I think what he was trying to say was, fuck I know u like my music but Im the last fucker u wanna worship.  peace

Axl always liked to wear t-shirts that were very controversy... with Charles, F.U. St. Louis or... one time Slash got a t-shirt with 'Poison Sucks' or sth like this and he wasn't sure if he should wear it and Axl just said 'Gimme that' and he went with it to the show...

Not so wrong...
yesterday I was watching "the 40 least Metal momment" on VH1 and that was SO funny to see all these early 80's hair metal/heavy metal bands out there claiming what sucks and what doesn't suck in music. That was so fake, they talked about "what is metal", and "what is not metal". They started to bash sheryl crow saying "she is not metal", they were all testosterone muscled men, with permanent flashy blond hair, typicall ultra 80's hair metal bands you see, I was like "who are they to bash other artists?". (Steven adler was right on VH1 about the hair metal thing and how different GN'R was from that)
Hoppefuly, GN'R brand back the real Rock n' Roll attitude, vibe, feeling and music with Appetite and a more artistic approach with the UYI, just a return to real music.
never liked Nirvana, but thanks also them for having stop this hair-metal circus.
