people allways get anoyed with stupid comment's in the threads... having a chat room would minamise that problem...
they can argue and what not in the chat room....

that way the threads will be kept clean and profesional.  (worth looking at )

Hmm actually, gunna_girl has a point.

If there was chat room then people can converse back and forth within seconds as a regular convorsation.  The forum threads are meant for general statements, oppinions, facts, and replies to the post, not something you can carry a convorsation along to.  People get off topic in the threads because they are trying to have a convorsation back and forth with another member, while one thing leads to another and they are off topic, an other people who just want to read replies pertaining to the origional topic have to scroll through pages of non-sense of off-topic convos that people are carrying on with eachother.  Having a chat will allow people to talk things out one on one and say what they have to say an leave it an be done, instead of having to scroll past pages that would be better suited in something like a chat.  A chat would be a place to go if you just want to have a convorsation, or further comments back with a particular member.

In a way I can see where you're coming from, because I have to admit that the prospect of losing certain members to a chat room is quite enticing...but I don't think it would work quite like that.? A chat room would serve to attract more and more annoying and frustratingly deluded people, who would all join forces to create an unstoppable army, armed with abbreviations. A chat room would encourage stupid comments and ridiculous arguments with no decent grounding to them. The Abbreviation Army, as I will call them, would gradually infiltrate the boards, due to finding the company fairly unsatisfying in their chat room. Among other things, this would result in an increased average time for reading posts, because we'd all have to sit here and decipher the somewhat novel strings of letters and numbers. Eventually, we'd all implode. Oxygen supply to our brains would be cut off, we'd sweat and cry profusely, combust, crack up...everything. Basically, we would die. You would all kill us. HTGTH has a good reputation, I'd say, and I think a chat room would lower the tone...a lot.

If you two are so keen on the idea of a chat room, then maybe you could just settle for second best, and get each other's MSN address. I'm sure you would have a very worthwhile 'convorsation', chit-chatting and stating your 'oppinions' about the 'origional' Gn'R, the new Gn'R, and everything in-between. Go on, break a leg.

Just for the record, I was never pro or con to the chat room idea, nor was it a do or die suggestion.? This conversation has gone on entirely way too long about something I could care less about as well as something I wont think twice about, or at all.? You know, you dont have to be sucha grouch, an you can take people's suggestions and views a little more appreciatively and respectfully, even if they are deranged or stupid.? Do you have multiple personalities or something?- because you were nice and helpful with my other post, all the while being grumpy over here.

By the way, I dont care anymore than you do, an Im not bothered by your blunt and sarcastic approaches

I wasn't even in a grumpy mood actually - I was just sitting here grinning my face off as I adopted the persona of an imaginary mod, given that none of them were around to lock/move this thread. With regards to your multiple personalities question...well, like SLC said, this is the crankiest he's ever seen me, and yes I was trying to be helpful to you in the other thread (deliberately, I think, to confuse you  ), so this is very out of character. I was just messing around, so although my opinions on the idea of a chat room were true, I wouldn't normally express them so forcefully. Oh, and you can stop blowing kisses, because it's the oldest trick in the book when it comes to trying to wind someone up  on these boards, and it doesn't work for me girl...
