Jimmy, best review I've seen of CD yet.

Yep, I can pretty much agree with that too.

Nesquick, you say CD is average but Riyadh is very good? I strongly disagree. What version of Riyadh do you think is good??

I like ryhad verY much. oasaka'02 and puckelpop versions are great.
The only things I don't like in ryhad is the techno intro and the BH shredd guitar solo. the rest of the song is exellent.

Osaka is one of my favorite bootlegs, and Riyadh sucks on it. I'll never understand people's fascination with that song. The music's ok, but Axl sings it horribly and you cant understand what he's saying. Axl should have handed out lyric sheets during the intro. How can you prefer an unintelligible song over chinese democracy?

english is not my native language so I don't care about lyrics. I just care about the melody. I think most of non-english native language people work like that. It's a natural process.

The lyrics to Riyahd sound as if they've been written by an 8th grader, "I AM CRAZY!' WTF is that!!!. Honestly Im so used to Axl being this great lyricist, I mean js listen to breakdown and Dont Damn Me. How the fuck can u write lyrics like that then go off to write a piece of shit like Riyhad? (OR HOWEVER THE HELL U SPELL IT)

Honestly I loved Oh My God the second I heard it, and I still love it. Its an exhilarating song and still gives me fucking goosebumps. Most ppl dont like it, but hey to each his own. That being said, regardless of different ppl having different tastes I still cant see how anyone can like rihyad or silkworms. But then again, I cant see how anyone can buy Avril Lavigne records.... but they sell  peace

The thing that bothers me the most about Riyadh is how it makes no sense. Even a studio version of it will more than likely suck, unless there's some alternate lyrics version of the song. The music to this song isn't too bad, but I just cant get over how shitty the lyrics are. I think this song was probably written in 97-98 when Axl was desperate for lyrics. I really hope this song isn't on the album, but I wouldn't be shocked if it was. As far as Silkworms goes, if we see Silkworms on the official tracklist, this is going to be a very weak album. And some people think there will be an updated version of Oh My God, since the 99 version was supposedly a demo. If Oh My God and Silkworms are both on CD, this album will be laughed out of the record stores.

Croatia, your post was a waste of time. You added absolutely nothing to the conversation. If you're not interested in what we're saying, then dont read it, and definitely dont post about it.

I have to agree, I don't like Rhiad or Riyadh [how ever it is spelled] at all.  I have the Osaka CD and I just can't listen to that song.  I don't like the lyrics and I don't like the melody.   I feel one of the worst songs I have heard from Axl's new material....I'm just saying.

DTJ, I listen to the Osaka cds, and Riyadh is horrible. But Osaka is a great show, except Riyadh. I love 'The Blues at this show. Osaka and Boston have the best version of The Blues.

No doubt Osaka is great.  I love it. I think I have Boston on an MP3 on my comp,  the versions I have heard of The Blues I really love.

I'm not a big fan of the HOB and Rio versions of the song. They are at a slightly faster tempo, and it just isnt as good. I didnt start to love this song until the 2002 bootlegs.

I liked the Albany version too, Rio was all messed up, the sound, the fact that Axl got pissed.  Even the MSG version wasn't bad at all.

I have most of the 2002 bootlegs, but not all of them. I dont have Albany. I must be one of the only people who doesn't like the MSG show. The quality isn't too good. Mike went to that show and said it was great, but that greatness didnt come through in the bootleg. MSG has the worst version of Chinese Democracy I've ever heard.

Oh James you have to get Albany....the show was awesomly shot first of all, the band sounds great, tight, Axl is on point with his voice, the famous Axl rant is in that show....James you must get it.!!!!!!

Yes, I know Mike was there, I am so jealous..I have to agree that the bootleg quality sucks bigtime visually anyway on mine, the guy shot the screen like the entire time.
