Also, the song UTLH is not meant to be taken seriously. Even Axl, when introducing the song in Live Era, says something along those lines..." this song is kinda of a sick subject, not autobigraphical...bla, bla blah..." that to me is telling me that he sometimes has a hard time (just like any other human being) dealing with relationships so he makes a joke (in this case, a song) about it.

Curioius distinction to be made

If a Klu Klux Klan member did a song about killing blacks would a disclaimer that it was a 'joke' sayisfy u?

Axl was a wife beater - fair enough the song was a joke, but read the example above again and ask urself how much saying its a joke can really defend u

I'm yet to see evidence whether Axl was a wife beater....How do you know? Was he found guilty of such charges? Just because he was pressed charges against, doesn't make him a wife beater.

To follow your logic, Izzy shoudl've been the wife beater cause he wrote the song. Axl just put sang it...same thing could be said about Slash, Steven and Duff...they all play the song, so they all have to be wife beaters...hell, I even think they are all racists because they play the instruments in One in a Million.  Roll Eyes
