If you're talking about the song discussed at the following link, it's not Axl singing, nor is it GN'R playing.

If you're talking about the song "death, jail or rock n'roll", it's a duet between Axl and Michael Monroe.

Yeah, you must be talking about 'Dead,Jail, or Rock N Roll'. But if memory serves me correctly, Axl wasn't on this album. He only appeared in the video and didnt actually sing the song for the album. Sound a little similar to the Axl-Tom Petty 'Freefallin' situation, doesn't it? Axl helping promote something he wasn't really involved in. As Arsenio Hall used to say: Things that make you go hmmmm..
