Yup they would have been 20years together on the 6th of June!!! That's like, if my parents still celebrated thier wedding anniversary, they are divorced btw.  Why would we celebrate? They aren't together anymore |

don`t know... i mean it`s not really a flyer of the gnr the public came to know back in the day... there are only izzy and axl, but if we say that gnr have their 20th anniversary today you can count rob gardner as well as for exmaple richard fortus.

No cause SLash, Duff and Steven weren't in the band yet for that flyer. ...But the band IS called Guns N' Roses...so that was an incarnation of Guns N' Roses....Simple as. So Guns N' Roses birthday (so to speak) isn't really 6th June1985. |

Happy 20th GNR!! Its hard to believe that twelve of those years have been spent doing nothing.
For me it's getting even unbelivable that they (mostly Axl) did something in the first 8 years. And that something was the best band of all time. Happy Birthday! |

Mikkamakka, I agree 100 percent. There will NEVER be another band like late 80's/early 90's GNR. It was a truly special moment in time. I'm glad I got to witness it firsthand. Remember those old articles where various members of the band said that they would probably self destruct before making a 2nd album? I guess we're lucky we got as much material as we did.

Shouldn't their 20th Anniversary be celebrated, 20 years after their first album/lp? I mean no one celebrates how long they have been dating someone once they get married, they just celebrate their years of marriage, so for me I would say 20 years would be 2006 , 20 years after their original 4 track release.
