Is Gilby ever gonna come to Canada?
How would I know my friend? I'm not his spokesperson...

It's cool.
However, I think you could stand a chance if you'd send him an email at his site... Usually you get answers from his webmaster but all of those emails are forwarded to him too.

Edit: btw, Ole is a norwegian name, maybe he's from here?
I think he was Danish. I think he died, but I might be wrong about that.
/jarmo
yeah..sorry about that first one, was a glitch in my system somewhere!
I think you're right about Ole, come to think of it, Ive heard about him before.
and Im pretty sure I heard he was Danish and that he died sometime.

BTW I seem to recall reading that Duff was a originally a guitarist but couldn't find work so he ended up playing Bass when he went to hollyood and it just stuck with him, can anyone confirm that?
I dont recall hearing or reading Duff mentioning himself as a guitarist, but prior to playing bass in GnR, I know he played drums for something like 8 years.

Duff played most instruments on his solo albums and he was a guitarist in other bands before he joined Gn'R

you can listen to Tracii's story of leaving GN'R on the japanese bonus DVD from the "Hollywood Rose" cd release. Tracii is telling his version of leaving the band himself there.
