Thats what I thought. Could it mean he is only being true to himself with his solo stuff, but not being true to himself with gnr? Is he only really sticking it out for the money? Its a pretty cryptic answer but when you read all his other responces, they all all tongue in cheek.

BR) No because I got to get paid whether its truthfully (creating my own music/beats and touring behind them) or untruthfully (playing someone elses boring drum beats and 80's tom fills when our singer shows up even though the band should be playing material we recorded 5 years ago.)

Just a tad. 

And by no means am I saying a band HAS to be really close and tight knit to make great music and be a success. But IMO it's fairly obvious that this group of players arent really close. I think probably as close as they get is fortus being sorta like the glue or middle man .. he is the guy who shows up to dizzy or tommys solo shows once in awhile , ya know?

Each of them seem to have different opinions on how much material is recorded , when the album will be out , who in the band , who's out of the band. Some of them dont like bucket , brain records and tours with Bucket ...

It just doesnt seem like any of them are on the same page and in reality it doesnt even seem like axl is even still in the book. 

But again , close or not .. in no way does it mean the album cant/wont be great. And in reality the album will probably feature a slew of musicians who are so far from this band now it isnt even funny.
