I think almost everyone hated Slither when we first had that shitty version.

rule 1 bands shouldnt put up little 30 second clips.

i dont care how good a song is, 30 seconds isnt enough for a song to grow on u and for u to like it.

I agree about Scott, what makes him so great is he never sounds the same.

listen to Big Bang Baby compared to Plush, totally different.

Listen to Creep compared to Fall to Pieces, totally different

Trippin on a hole in a paper heart compared to Suckertrain blues, totally different.


Im sure the new album will kick ass, its just a soundtrack song, I didnt think Set Me Free was the greatest song, certainly one of my least favorites on the CB album.

Sounded kind of dull and recycled from the 35 second clip.  Then again it was only 35 seconds, can't really tell yet but it wasn't impressive that one.

Definitely the weakest Velvet Revolver song so far. Everything on Contraband is better. This one has no good vocal melodies or guitar riffs and even Slash's solo is boring. Very weak song.

I never new Slash and DUff had such a desire to play STP songs. This song could come off any STP album. AFter personally being dissapointed by the debut album aside form a couple of songs, this song doesnt sway my opinion of the band 1 bit.

Hopefully their more "cohesive" collaboration will not turn out to be anything like this....

This is a focking bad ass song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!? The solo sounded like something from robin fink though....? The last guitar part towards the end of the song is cool though.



.....after more listens, the solo is growing on me......  If this was on Contraband, it would be my 2nd favorite rocker song, behind Slither..  I love the guitar at the end of the song.
