I love dogs to death, the greatest allies a man like me could ever have. I have a yellow lab, her name is sadie. She's like my sister, very loyal to me . We have a relationship exactly like Han Solo and Chewbacca. I always call her my wookie. She's so friendly to people, even  very small kids. when I was in middle school, there was this kid that picked on me very terribly. I don't know why he was in my neighborhood , but he didn't know Sadie was my pet so he tried petting her when she was out front. She bites his hand , then his shin. As he was kneeling down in pain holding it , she snaps his face like a pair of scissors. It will always be a mystery how she knew I hated the kid, but she knew what she did was to defend me. It's very funny how she don't trust cats, she finds them very nosey and sneaky, it just irritates her like crazy. We were watching my cousin's cat when she was on vacation,  he was trying to go down our basement without being seen, but Sadie caught him and took a snap at  him. I'm not a cat person at all and I'm allergic to them , so maybe she can read my mind or something. She's definetly made to be with me, that's for sure.

What makes a dog mean, if you attack he/she like a human being. Don't kick ,use objects to hit, smack or punch the poor animal, a dog can't do that back!That's what turns the animal bad .

How you can dicipline a dog in some ways I know:

when walking the dog, if he/she pulls you , jerk the leash back and hold the snout, point at and say "no pull" or "bad dog."

Other ways to tell the dog is being bad: grab by the collar and shake for a few seconds. If the dog really crosses the line, this is the only way to hit if you need to, grab the snout and smack the nose firmly. For some reason they feel they're defensless to that action.

I love animals but I'm still going to eat them, I have respect for journey and D though, it must be hard.
Animals are still be killed so you might aswell eat the meat. The whole vegetarian thing has been explained to me many times by different people but I still can't really see where they're coming from or why they don't eat meat, is it just because they love animals?

My dad is a vego BY FORCE.  He had a heart attack and they told him he had to stop eating red meat.  So he's a vegetairian now?! And I am aswell.... except I eat Chicken!!

Yeah, maybe he was, but he was being nice enough towards your dog.
It's just that if your dog bites a kid, she can do it again and next time it just might not be an asshole.

She's friendly towards other strangers, she wouldn't of bitten another kid, somehow she knew that certain kid was a jerk . Other than that, she's a great friend. You would understand  from my point of view.

This is a tough issue and there are many ways to view it.? What makes humans special?? What makes animals (including humans) unique from plants?? What makes all living things different from rocks?? Depending on how you view the issue and how much you've actually read on it you can provide a different answer.? I actually took 3 college courses debating this very issue and how humans are intertwined to the environment.? What seperates humans from every other creature on this planet is our ability to govern our actions.? No other creature can determine right or wrong or regulate itself.? When a lion is hungry it eats.? When a plant needs water its roots absorb moisture.?
? The entire argument can become very emotional with people not using logic or reason in the argument.? Many animals, such as cows, pigs and chickens are artifacts.? They don't exist in "nature" anymore.? Over thousands of years these animals have lost their natural abilities to survive in nature.? I don't advocate animal cruelty at all, but it's important to denote that cruelty is defined as gaining pleasure from the harm one causes to a thing.? Humanely killing livestock so that millions of people can eat each year is hardly inhumane or cruel.? Vegans and animal libers forget that it is improbable to switch to a society where we don't utilize animals.? What are we supposed to do, euthanize existing herds of livestock?? Interstingly enough, Peta euthanizes thousands of cats and dogs each year because they deem it the humane thing to do.? How is punching a steak through the neck of a cow killing it instantly worse for the call than injecting it with a serum??
? The entire issue is a moral one and I challenge those who advocate animal liberation and vegan principles to explain why humans shouldn't eat.? To claim that it is not natural is naieve and inadvertantly places humans on a unique pedistal that argues against the origianl point of equality.? If a wolf can eat meat, why can't I if we're equal?? To state that humans can control their actions is to concede the Kantian notion of humans uniqueness due to rationality.? Humans stem from the same "nature" as every other creature.? We evolved in a different aspect than other animals.? ?Our rationality and high intellect is important to our species just as a monkey's agility or cheetah's speed is important to its own species.? The word unnatural is an oxymoron and does not exist.? Everything we do and create is natural as it stems from our given abilities of higher thought.? We have in essence evolved into being the natural seers of the Earth and the first naturalist and environmental ethicist (Aldo Leopold) advocated that point.
? The above issue is fun to discuss, but interested parties should really read the philosophical works of those who have meditated on the issue.? It's interesting and humbling to say the least.

even how you put it, it's still wrong. That kid could've been wearing a purple dick-suit andf it wouldn't change a thing. A dog shouldn't bite unless it was protecting herself or her owner.

Sure, I've had a few occasions with my dogs, but they have never bitten anyone. When a dog growls and shows it's teeth it usually cools down the situation

Well my dog is pretty cool, its name is Nicolas, and he really likes to eat meat, but that is all he eats, sad but true sadly he is almost all the time alone, so when he goes out he is like a horse, and its a precious mixture between a cooker and a "chapi" hhehe...  I love animals, I hope you learn to love them too and treat them with the respect they need....

Animals are the last pure thing in the world besides nature, and we are killing both of them.... so lets take a time to understand them even if its hard to do....
