If people weren't meant to eat meat then why do we have our canine teeth? I don't agree with the hunting of animals to just kill them (and I would never go hunting myself) but if you hunt something (deer for example) with the intention of using it for food then thats ok with me. Cows, pigs and chicken are bred for eating. If we don't eat them then there will be a huge surplus in farm animals.

I guess it would be cool if humans plan to have extra waste disposal areas for pigs to hang out in all day and I guess everyone who owns a house could get a cow or two to keep their grass short. But chickens, what do we do with them? They are not good for much but eggs and roasting .?

Besides the only time farm animals smell good is when they are being cooked.

Besides, for those of us who celebrate it, what would we eat on thanksgiving with no ham or turkey?

1.- A. aren't in the world for our Amusement;
2.- A. aren't our Food (even when we have treated them like that);
3.- A. aren't Inferior to Us;
4.- A. aren't a way to get money;
4.- A. "feel" and feel our Mistreat;

These are the things that the World should understand in order to evolve and improve....

seriously, It's a matter of the custom.
I also find vegans tend to be a tad pigheaded.  They might be in short of vitamins.
So only with the spread of various tasty n well balanced no meat cookery, people's meat addiction will be gradually decreased.
