Rock am Ring

Hi, I'm not really a newbie... but since my old login seems to be deactivated and I can't get it working, I registered once again.
I would like to have to comments on the following:
Next weekend the 20th aniversary edition of Rock am Ring will be held on the Nurnburgring in Germany. Its a three day festival with some huge names on the bill. Such as... R.E.M., Iron Maiden, Incubus, Motley Crue, Greenday, the prodigy and VELVET REVOLVER
The promotor has been trying to get GN'R to play RaR for years, and last year they almost did it... But no such luck. This year Limp Bizkit cancelled as main headliner on sunday, and the organisation decided that the new headliner would remain a mystery untill sunday. Now ? know chances are slim, especially since VR is playing only two hours before but what do you think the chances are that GN'R will play Rock am Ring?
Take in consideration that Tommy said in an interview somewhere they'd play some european dates this year... and RaR management has been trying to get GN'R for years...
Your comments please...

That is some kick ass lineup.
Wishful thinking but chances are zero, plus, I think a few members of the band are in the middle of their own committments at the moment?
And, I don't think GN'R and VR would ever been on the same lineup.

It might be wishfull thinking from my side, but Richard has no prior ingagements with nena, cuz he's a long weekend off. I'm not sure about tommy and dizzy, but anyway. Chances are extremly small since I can't imagine VR and GN'R on the same bill, but on the other hand, they won't even meet. Big bands like GN'R and VR leave directly after the concert...
