really saul most of the times you couldn't see the face?? Must have never seen the live shows.. I only said I like to be able to see emotion live.. That's not that out of this world..
Regardless , if you rather see someones "face" while they play out of tune crap before hearing a guitarist actually play in key .. thats cool. Thats personal opinion and I respect that
if you resepcted that you wouldn't throw a back handed comment in there.. Yes it's all out of tune and it's all crap..
I actually didnt see many live shows until "later on" .. back in 87 I was just becoming a teen and wasnt into trading "tapes" .. hell I guess there wasnt many video tapes of gnr circulating until a lil later on. So for my 1st few years of being a GNR fan Slash was just as mysterious to me as Buckethead! For real.
As for the back handed comment , I think your right man , it was kinda back handed , sorry. I understand whereyou are coming from about "seeing" the emotion ... but I guess I can see the "emotion" when I watch Bucket play. I see it in the way he moves , subtle head banging , lil things he does with his guitar , especially when he starts pushing the stretch starap around .. then you know he's getting into it!
His solo shows are where you see him become most animated , though I should digress.
As for the playing out of tune and the material on the album .. I think what robin plays on the album will be night and day compared to what he does live. Any player in the studio that long has no excuse for any note to be out of tune. Hopefully there will be some memorable guitar work on the album .. just hope it can be replicated live.
