Looks like he's in the recording process of some sort .... he used some Strat's on the Illusions albums I know ... but he never uses them live, as he doesn't think they're reliable as he's quite a violent player.

There's an older pic (from like the illusions era) of Slash with a white strat and he's playing next to Shannon Hoon. I tried googling for it but couldn't find it...i'm sure someone here has it though.
