Cold Play Chris martin mentions Axl
«
on:
May 10, 2005, 12:54:51 PM »
This morning I was listening to a station in Toronto and Chris Martin from Cold Play was in the studio and he mentioned how he is waiting patiently for Axl's return and new CD
Nothing great but my ears perked up to hear Axl's name on the radio again.
Cheers

It's expecially nice to hear positive comment from today's great vocalist and song writer. Usually it's like Lars from Metallica and others veterans who gives these kind of statements.

That's more unexpected than Axl getting mentioned on Metal Sludge.....
Chris Martin likes GN'R? Never knew....

Jarmo,
Would you believe when Chris first jammed with the rest of the band at the birth of Coldplay they used to jam GNR tunes!! I saw him being interviewed about this years ago. They love the band but wanted to play a different style of music.
That's trivia for ya.....

Though I'm no fan of Chris or Coldplay, it's good to hear someone outside of our dysfunctional community is also looking forward to some new tunes from Axl.

Coldplay's great! To me they are the best thing out there at the moment and I very much look forward to their new album coming out in June.
I also think it's really great for Chris to make such a compliment!! He obviously acknowledges quality music (imo).
Hope to see GN'R and Coldplay together on a festivalbil sometime.

Man how could you say that!!!! Coldplay is one of the best pop-rock band right now. They are the only british band who breack the Billboard Top 100 Singles Chart from The Beatles times. If you don`t know the band just don`t say nothing. I`m not a big fan of Coldplay but definitely they make a very good music.

Wrong.? Plenty of Brit groups have been on the Billboard 100 since "The Beatles times".
