I find Matt to be a lame, for the check poser.

I dont really like him that much and yes it was a nice synth lookin keyboard on YGNR, wasnt a grand piano but all the same.

If he wanted to join a bad ass rock band and he thought GNR were lame cause of a piano why didnt he quit?

Every live show i got on bootleg Matt is rockin out to every song and feeling it with tons of emotion, so for him to say that kind of shit just makes him look retarded.

I thought he was ok but lost all respect after that BTM episode.

I have no clue, it was hidden behind the marshall stacks but after hoobastank i watched the show as they wheeled out VR's equipment and saw a Keyboard/synth instrument wheeled behind the amps, plus u could hear it, so im guessing it was one of the Musical Techs, either SLash's guitar tech,Matt's tech,Duff's tech, someone associated with the band.

its not a very hard synth riff so it wouldnt have took an extremely skilled musician to play it.

but there was a Keyboard/synth instrument there and if u look in your Contraband credits Doug Grean played keyboard on FTP,YGNR and LTA.

SO Matt Sorum, What up with that? Guess u didnt sign up for that either huh?

I just hate that fake shit like that, tryin to look cooler than u are by dissin something else. Matt should thank Axl's pussy piano cause without GNR who would he be?

dont even say The Cult cause I dont think they are popular these days.

They were never as popular as they were cool, and diverse enough to make it through the changing trends in music without losing their credibility.. ?A very fair trade in my estimation.

A faction of Cult fans share your opinion about Matt being a "for the check poser", feeling he sold out when he left for GNR. ?I've never held that opinion of him though, it was a smart career move, which had the blessings of Ian and Billy.

Pulling this back to topic, sort of..a "synth lookin keyboard " is nowhere near the pompousness of having two keyboard players and a grand piano at a rock show.

I cant stand watching him on stage. I used to love his solo but now i realise it all rides of his double kick and is boring as fuck!!
