was watching this crap pop concert on Fox tonight to see finger eleven preform.... They had a caption that read: "The band borrowed Axl Rose's piano to record their latest album"

Just thought that was pretty cool, and figured i'd pass that along since its the only offical news about axl latley....

my girlfriend was watching that Top 40 concert. she was telling me about some of the quotes they had running, like "avril lavigne never had a guitar lesson, and is self taught." Roll Eyes

pretty cool about the piano though, i missed that one. i wonder if they hang out with Axl, or if they rented his piano...making CD has been pretty expensive hihi

this has been posted a few times from the original story. umm , they were in the same studio axl was using and they snuck in the room that GNR were using and they talked about the coop made for bucket and what not .. then they said they mic'ed up axl's piano to try and "steal some of his mojo" cause we all know ole uncle ax got plenty of mojo!

it's been posted here a few times if you wanna search out the whole story.

they had a song not too long ago called "one thing" .. you probably heard it on the radio.

anyways , heres the story about the piano ..

"Team Digital: Speaking of crazy, rumour has it you rocked Axl Rose's piano when you were recording in LA...

James: Yeah, we were in a studio called 'The Village' where Axl has been for the past ten months recording. There's this big theatre room that used to belong to the Maharishi. The Beatles used to go and pray in there and stuff. Now it's this big rehearsal space where Guns 'N Roses rehearses and there's this big man-sized chicken coop where their guitar player Bucket Head goes when they're jamming. And there's this big grand piano where Axl plays and so we just kinda snuck in there and mic'ed it up and started hammering away on the piano, figuring we could steal some of Axl's 'mojo.'"

did they leave him a little thank-you note?  'Dear Axl, thanks for your mojo  love'    hihi

Finger Eleven is a band from Canada. They are actually really popular up there and have 3 albums that have sold pretty well up there. Their earlier albums had some charm but this new one is fairly commercialized. Theres nothing on it to really distinguish them from the rest of the nu-metal crowd.
