172000? Thats alot.
Damn, released one week earlier and they would've taken the #1 spot
Now that's really amazing... they could've had a #1 album in the U.S. with this thing.

For those crying for a reunion:
?For the fans to attempt to condemn me to relationships even only professional with any of these men is a prison sentence and something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I'd say my parole is nearly over. I'm practically a free man and if you don't like it you'll have plenty of time to get used to the idea.? - Axl Rose, 2002.

Today on Channel 4's Teletext service, it says The GH is head to head with Anastasia's new album for the number 1 UK spot - both outselling Ushers album.
So much for the boycott eh? lol
Anastasia won the race and is at No.1 but it still means GN'R are back upto No.2 followed by Usher at No.3 and George Michael at No.4

2....3....2 in the UK, outselling Usher and fighting for the number one spot with a new album from Anastasia. I don't think anyone could have predicted this.
I've noticed that the TV ads vanished in the UK after the first week, and still it keeps selling.
Unbelievable.

Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone knows the projected sales figures for GH this week in the U.S. I believe this week and subsequent week sales figures will be more telling of the overall success of the album. Thanks!

In it's third week, it drops from nr. 1 to nr.3 in Norway. The same position it is holding in the Euro chart.

In Sweden it's at #5 in its third week on the
chart
. The weird thing is that it's not on the
hardrock album chart
.

Looks like Guns will be in the top 10 USA charts it's second week
http://www.hitsdailydouble.com/sales/salescht.cgi
Dropping from #3 to #8 with 60% counted.
Looks like it held up well to the onslaught of new releases.
Only Usher and that Hip-Hop hits record did better in the second week.
Awesome!

That's amazing. GH's packages normally fall out of sight in week 2, to stay in the top 10 is a great accomplishment.
Any idea on how many were sold in week 2?
