Richard Fortus, the phenomenon

- For me the "real" Guns N' Roses is the old band. I love their chemistry, their music, their energy, their look (especially during the Illusion Erea). They were phenomenal. Slash will never be replaced.
- I like the new band (but not "love" them like the old one). I like their sound and their creativity (the blues, madagascar). I really like Fortus a lot. He is the link between the old and the new band in his style, music, stage presence, guitar playing/feeling and look. However, Axl is not as great as the old days and I absolutely dislike this "indus/gothic" touch in this new band (anti-bluesy/Rock vibe). Also the new band doesn't have the same chemistry and energy onstage (exept Axl, Dizzy and Fortus). I think they have the potencial to have a lot of success and to sell a lot of records but they will never sell 85 million records like the old band and be as legendary and famous.
Finally I'm impressed by Dizzy in the new band, he has a more important role than in the old band. He is very underrated.

with slash it was good

Duff because when he was playing with GnR back then he could barely speak because of the drugs involved and he is living strong and healthy today!  Also because he rocks at the bass and is hot.  Tongue   love...

I love em all, Izzy is the cool,hip,groovy,bluesy guy,Duff the punker,Steven the more smiley bubbly guy,Slash the guitarist with "mistique" (Jason Lee's line in almost famous),Matt is the younger cooler guy (Even though hes older than everyone else) he got like a young vibe to him and he hits the drums like they murdered his fucking mother,Dizzy is ok, and Gilby is js cool as fuck. But for me

Axl Rose is the embodiment of the phrase Rock Star. His voice,his energy,his additude, js about everything about him I like.  peace

Gilby was pretty cool, but saying he was your favorite person ever in GN'R is like saying Robert Trujillo is your favorite all-time Metallica member.  Gilby was a replacement guitarist who was in the band for a couple years.  Never wrote anything with them, and never recorded an original track.  Are you related to him or something?
