Fortus On Tour Until September?

in the news section it says he is goin on tour with Nena! ive never even heard of them, With Richard out doin that I guess Guns arent planning to do anything for the next few monthes ohhhh well whats a few months when youve waited for years

It would appear that Richard Fortus is on tour with a German singer all through the summer with the last gig being 24th September.

So:-

a) Has he quit Guns N'Roses?

or

b) Is this simply another wasted year with no end to the wait on the horizon?

i guess Richard rather would be in GNR then on tour with Nena, or whoever they are! So i guess there wont be a gnr tour anytime soon. But that does not mean that Chinese Democracy wont be released in the near future..

We are now in mid april. September (when the tour with nena ends) is just five months away. Nothing will happen until then regarding a tour. If a release date is announced soon, we will get the album in aprox. 6 months time I guess, so nevermind fortus playing with nena or whoever he wants to play with (please no more enrique iglesias or nsync ). What the hell, I'd play with them for the money

Certainly not a high profile gig for Fortus.

If Axl called him to cut his tour short I`m sure he would. But I`m not getting my hopes up for that. After being a GNR fan for MANY years I know better.

Hey, I like enrique Iglesias music. I prefer Enrique Iglesias to anything "Metal". I don't especially like NSYN'C but there was a song called "by bye" (huge success) where I used to do a dancing choregraphy on it...well I was a "young" teenager at college ?

Everybody has made some mistakes during their life.... . I'm not saying I hate my compatriot (iglesias jr), but I'd rather play guitar with bruce springsteen (I love the boss by the way).

Doesnt seem to be that good. If we assume that the artwork, promotion, photos etc are not yet done, then even if things do start again in late september it could still be months until it all gets sorted. They have to reherse, shoot a video, get the artwork, print the album etc.

However... how many release dates have come and gone over the years? Its possible, although unlikely that all or some of the above have already been done, or could even be done during one of the long breaks that Fortus has on the tour.

The above seems highly unlikely though, as im sure we would have heard about it. As more and more people are bought in its going to be harder to keep things so secret. I suppose its only a matter of time.

Guess we just keep waiting until September/October. Yay
