I was just thinking about this the other day and thought I'd like to hear what other people think,

Izzy was a very Key meber in the band they did tour with him but since he left they there wasnt been any new songs??

seems to me GNR hasnt done anything new since izzy left maybe axl needs to hook up with izzy if we ever hope to see the new CD with in the next 10 years

Yeah, people don't realize how key Izzy really was.  They never released an original song without him.  Plus he was such a cool guy.  He embodied everyhting GN'R was all about.  If only Izzy were in Velvet Revolver, they would be so much better.  Izzy could show Scott Weiland how to right some good lyrics for a change.  Come to think of it, you know what else would make VR a lot better...AXL ROSE!!!

Axl's officially released one original GN'R song since Izzy left the band in 1991.  And Oh My God isn't exactly up to GN'R standards.  Axl is of course key, but so is Izzy.

Of course Slash is key.  When it comes down to it you need Axl, Slash, Izzy, and Duff.  They're all key, and without any one of them it's just not the same.
