Ew. Hey that reminds me of something! I was reading this magazine with an Avril interview in it. and they were asking her about some of her lyrics and what they meant. Well I was reading the lyrics and I'm like hey... that sounds awfully familiar. It said "Thought I liked you a lot but I'm really upset, get out of my head, get off of my bed."

So I went and grabbed UYI 1 to look up the lyrics to Back Off Bitch. Which says.. "Stay out of my bed, outta my head, if its lovin you, I'm better off dead".

I was surprised she was a fan since she's so young. But then I saw the results of the current poll... we have so many KIDS in this forum!  I was shocked.  GNR lives on.

I think she is older than me. I'm only 19. I don't listen to very many new bands. Mainly stuff from 70s-80s.

I haven't seen Avril claim to be a GN'R fan. I have seen her claim to be a Sum 41 fan.

And yes, they do look alike.

she's dating the lead singer from sum41 (ugly little boy, who actually dated paris hilton--haha).  And I appoligize as a Canadian for her CRAP music...I mean, she LOOKS like a punk rocker, but she's a pop princess.
However, give her props for being a stong lady and a positive "role model" compared to other pop princesses out there who look like street walkers.
And I haven't heard officially if she's a rock fan---I mean she liked country music as a teen for petes sake (eeeew!)
and finally...yes they look similar..although I don't wanna think about that...heh heh....

Same here man, Im 19 and I started listening to GnR in October 2004, and I immediately became a Die-Hard Fan for life, so yes they will live on, and even though I listen to everything, I love 70's and 80's shit more than ANY of the garbage that passes for music these days.
